Used this on a few backpacking trips to get started in the hobby. Kept me pretty warm in the 40s at night. Large enough for my 45lb dog to crawl into the foot box when it got really cold. The synthetic insulation compresses pretty well. The bags materials are pretty comfortable. I had no problem getting quality sleep with a wide (bag width) inflatable sleeping pad. Great for car camping and late spring/early summer backpacking
