A little heavy for backpacking
I bought this primarily for taking to summer camp with my son's Scout Troop, but thought it might be handy for charging my power packs while on the trail backpacking. I was a little surprised by how heavy it feels ~1 lbs. That being said it works wonderfully for charging my power packs. Took about 2 hours to charge my 10000mAH power pack in the mid day direct sunlight. That's about as good as I can ask for. The sewn in pouch is the ideal size to slip your power pack or cellphone in and connect to the USB output while protecting the device from direct sunlight. The folding case feels well built and durable. I'm very happy

It worked this year
Well this summer it made it through one week of the Pennsic war in New Castle Pennsylvania. Little bit of rain a little bit of sun and I was still able to charge my batteries and record with my GoPro from the said batteries. Will update review in 2024 when we use it again...

Nope: Instructions say to keep the USB port protected from direct sunlight
You would expect a solar panel to be able to work in direct sunlight. Well, not this one. The instructions say to "keep the board with USB port protected from direct sunlight". They do know this is a solar panel, right?Shaking my head.

Works great
I have 4 other folding chargers rated at 30 watts but this little gem out preforms all of them. Have a power bank that other chargers take 10 to 12 hours to fully charge from depleted but this one did it in 7. Highly recommend

Junk!
I just all around don't like this product. The panels feel cheap and look gimmicky and they also take FOREVER to charge my phone. When I plugged it in, at 10%, it said it would take 7 hours to charge. It was placed in direct sunlight at mid day too. I do not recommend this product.
