This scar tape works well! It is very moisturizing, and it does reduce some swelling and purple / reddening coloration in incision scars. My only issue that I ran into is that they do not stick well for me (Though, keep in mind: My incision is in a bit of an awkward, motion-heavy place on the chest). The strip, in this spot, sticks for a few hours -- especially when it is left in whole strips, but it does not hold up when cut to size - likely due to the silicone just making it a bit slippery. Either way, I have enjoyed these, as the strips are light and feel like I'm wearing nothing. So long as I am not sweating, they are pretty durable. Comes in a fairly large roll for the price, too.

My dermatologist told me to get silicone tape after my surgery. I had a long n wide incision on my chest. I was horrified right after surgery. I followed his directions and used this tape religiously. This tape is so easy to use. It stuck so well, that I could remove it to clean the incision and replace it. I thought I'd go through this tape quickly. It lasted a long time. In fact, I still have a lot left. It was easy to cut and shape to my scar. You can barely see the scar now. The tape reduced it immensely and I couldn't be happier. I thought I'd have to have cosmetic surgery to reduce the ugliest of it. The only thing, I might do is have a treatment to reduce the shininess of the scar. However, it's not that bad compared to what it was at first. I wish other doctors had recommended this tape. I haven't tried it on old scars, yet I highly recommend this product and it will always be a staple in our medicine cabinet.
