They arrived folded in quarters. The creases do not come out. I have left these outside in full sun in Dubai in the Summer for two days, and they are still as creased as when they arrived. Doormats are supposed to lie flat. These never will. The second star is because - if you could use them around doors - they would be good for cleaning shoes. I had planned to use one inside my door and one outside. I cannot, because of the large lumps from the creases. Edit: I have added two stars. The creases are decreasing over time; however, there are still creases. If they hadn't folded them, I'd really be happy with these. At least now I can open and close my doors with these in front of them. Additional edit: The creases FINALLY came out. There is only a slight indication on the sides that these were ever folded. I left the review at 4 stars, because these mats should have been delivered rolled up, and not folded, which would have prevented the initial negative impression and loss of usability inside (until now). If you wait long enough, they will lay as flat as anyone could require.
