It gets to the point in a gentle way for kids to understand the importance of good hygine.
I have been looking for a book that helps those who have not properly been taught by their parents the importance of good hygiene. This book gets to the point in a gentle way. With so many relatives staying at my house over the holidays I though what a good time to bring this matter up, if the parents don't then this books explains the importance of having good hygiene all the time. I feel it is better to catch this problem when kids are young, to prevent them from growing up and getting out in the real world and have a stranger tells them they smell. I am so glad I purchased this book, we need more books on the issue of good hygiene since schools have cut back and no longer teach health and hygiene.

Kids LOVED this. PACKED with informative content.
I’m a school counselor & my 4th and 5th grade classes LOVED this. Prompted great discussion for our personal hygiene lesson. And my 2nd grade son LOVED it, too. It’s packed with humor, fun rhyme, good illustrations, and it just covers SO MUCH good, informative CONTENT (about bathing, and germs, and soap, and deodorant, and the social benefits of good personal hygiene.). This book is weird (she’s a fork! but it transitions to kids at the end) and somehow it just perfectly works & it was definitely a WOW for me.

Great!
AMAZING book. Both of my children HATE showering for a multitude of reasons but primarily due to sensory difficulties. We've used this book to help explain the importance of good hygiene, especially as they get older. I have an 8 and 10 year old who have both had b.o. (body odor) since kindergarten (STINKY!!!!) and this book helps explain the reasoning why good hygiene is important socially and emotionally as they get older as well. I highly recommend this book to all school-aged children; even tweens/pre-teens!

A Great Book
I bought this book for my special education class to teach them about hygiene. It is the perfect book/ It is done in story form, and done in a way that is relatable for students with or without disabilities.
