Very reliable manual BP monitor.
After browsing and reviewing I went for this Rossmax GB101. It seems quite durable, reliable and sturdy.I'm not a doctor but after using digital BP monitor I found them very unreliable in terms of reading accuracy, but I did learn how to measure from one of my friend who is in nursing. Also YouTube is one the big teacher :) Now a days the lifestyle we people are living it is a general accessory for every home. Please aware this model doesn't comes with any stethoscope, the reason for me buying only this model is to avoid the cheap stethoscope and go for the reliable and good one. When you buy this you obviously need a stethoscope. I bought one dual headed stethoscope from Indosurgical ( Littmann Type (Blue). The stethoscope is as good as users reviewed it. Very clean sound to your ears and perfect in quality. The Rossmax GB101 has a cuff, sphygmomanometer (clip on the back) and a rubber ball with steel Chrome-plate brass air release valve and all is of very good quality. It worth the money you spend on this manual BP monitor. Make sure sphygmomanometer needle always be at "0" before you measure. Comes with a carrying bag too.You don't need very expensive equipment for measuring BP, however I'm not including doctors(Salute to them) in this because they are able to buy and have to because of their profession they need very precise equipment. Now when it comes how to measure BP you need to learn from a health professional or from YouTube, it's not as difficult as it seems before you start learning. 120/80 mm Hg is the normal healthy range, 120 (systolic, the upper number ) / 80 ( diastolic lower number ). Brachial artery is in the inside elbow where you have to keep the Stethoscope head to listen to heart beats. Can't teach you here but well let me take the opportunity to tell the general users what you should know checklist:-Now what you should know before using manual BP device:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1- Learn how to use, ear-cups placement to your ears and hear from the head of stethoscope (very easy) , dual headed has diaphragm and bell. You can switch to either one by rotating the head. But only buy a good stethoscope.2- Learn how to read reading from sphygmomanometer , to which level you should inflate the cuff (generally inflate to180-200 mm Hg).3- How to slowly release air from the valve so that you hear the first beat( Systolic ) after you start releasing air from the valve and getting silent of the last beat ( diastolic pressure ) from your stethoscope.Practice, Practice and Practice you will get mastery in no time :)Health tips:----------------------After I got high cholesterol in my report I was stun for few days. After that I started change in my lifestyle. Taking heart med at early age is not a good idea.1- Running, Walking, Jogging, Cycling is BEST for you lungs and heart. I quit gymming and embrace previous activities.2- If you are starting running after a long while don't run fast instead give your body a little time and have used to it.3- Cut sugar and oil from your diet. Not all but it's up to you how much you are able to cut. Low sodium diet, low salt in your meals.4- Eat peanuts, dry fruits, fresh fruits and vegetables.5- Increase Omega fatty acids, eat fish, Chia seeds, Flax seeds etc.6- Cut Chicken, mutton in your diet.If you come to this last line and found my review helpful please do not forget to give me a like friend!!

Good Quality Sphygmomanometer!! It's a bargain with the discount
Good analog dial BP cuff. I am quite pleased with it since I got it at a 72% discount! The dial needle is properly calibrated and is at zero - I was a bit concerned about this as other reviewers had mentioned that they recieved a piece with a wrongly caliberated needle, but mine was perfect. The actual cuff is made of a decent synthetic material that doesn't smell or feel too rough. Rubber tubes and pump are of a good quality which is important as the poor quality brand's tubes develop holes easily.I used to have a Diamond BP cuff which was a total waste of money but it was the only thing I could find in the surgical shops in my area, so I spent 1,000/- rupees on it out of desperation last year. It was AWFUL, the cheap rubber tubes gave off terribly toxic fumes when I opened the box (could have been used as a pesticide it was that bad, used to make me throw up), and I couldn't use it for over a month because I had to "air" it first. Even after that it would stink horribly. And the entire spyhgmomanometer was just rubbish and crap, the cuff never inflated properly (used to struggle with it) and the needle in the dial used to get stuck half the time even after deflating - I had to bang it to get the right reading!!Don't think I have ever cursed an appliance as much as that stupid Diamond one, it's ironic that a BP cuff used to get MY BP so high 😡 I hardly used it (because it was so difficult to use), and two weeks ago it stopped working as the cheap rubber hose developed a hole and the cuff refused to inflate. That's when I came to Amazon to try and find another brand. So NEVER BUY DIAMOND brand, it's a complete waste of money!!!! (They cheated me royally so I am warning others through this review. They should return my money for the defective bad quality product I was sold!)In comparison, I find this Rossmax brand spyhgmomanometer to be so much better, thank God Amazon had it!!! I have no trouble with the dial or inflating the cuff, and best of all there are NO toxic fumes from the rubber! I started using it right away and its a joy to use after the previous one. The only thing I didn't like in the Rossmax apparatus is that the cuff has a long metal D ring that limits the expansion of the cuff (so it won't fit very overweight people), I prefer one without a limiting ring, but it's a minor thing for me. If the D ring/ limited cuff had not been there I would have given the product 5 stars. Now I just hope this lasts longer than the Dabba Diamond apparatus! Will update after a while but so far so good. Go ahead and order Rossmax, I give it a thumbs up.

no stethoscope will be with this model
This model 101 will be without a stethoscope; the images present and the box showing a stethoscope are wrong. In the manual, which was inside the package, it shows stethoscope (optional). didn't use it, so I can't actually review it, but I wanted to point out the obvious deception.
