Handy & Effective Vegetable Chopper- REVIEW AFTER 3 MONTHS of rigorous usage
I was looking for something to chop vegetables on a fly. Chopping via knife was time consuming & using some fix slider type or rope pull type mechanical choopers was unreliable. Searching a bit, i landed upon this category of motorised choppers.Having gone through a lot of similar types, i finally settled on orpat one & it turned out good.In short, its small & handy yet effective chopper with good ergonomic design. Using it for more than 3 months & it never disappoointed in the very task it is made for.**************INSIDE BOX**************1. Motor with 4.5 ft cord2. Transparent container3. Container lid4. Two blades5. Leaflets / warranty card*******PROS:*******1. Effective & efficient. Does a lot of work in seconds. Manually which may comsume minutes.2. Handy, compact & durable design3. Ergonomic soft push button, which stabilizes system when you push it vertically.4. Two types of blades for various jobs, chopping & whisking5. Works excellent with higher quantity of items, till upper level mark6. Heavy duty copper motor7. Separate chamber design, which makes cleaning easy without damaging motor, as its a separate unit8. Transparent container with cover which in turn have mini lid. It can be closed while storing items & opened while motor is fixed on it.9. Sufficiently long cord*******CONS:*******1. Proprietary plastic blades. Once blunt or broken, whole system is useless. One gets item for long term usage, but this problem limits its lifetime.2. High gap below blades, renders using device for small quantities close to impossible3. Chopper blade could have been 4 blade design, for further effective chopping4. Plastic propreitary gears for engagement of blade & motor. Once broken, will be close to useless5. Spare parts availability may be an issue due to above reasons.****************FINAL VEDICT:****************So finally, if on low budget & looking for good quality effective chopper, you can get this one without any second thought. Just use it wisely & dont overload it, as plastic construction of gears & blades though looks solid & durable, may not withstand it.Rest for normal usage, it wont ever disappoint you. Its used at my place on daily basis for chopping vegetables. Its like minutes turned into seconds. A kitchen person would love this product, as it saves a lot of efforts. If budget can be extended, you can get some model with 4 blade design only to be able to better chop low quantity of items inside. Rest Orpat one is good enough.

Simply Love it. Buy it
Simply love it. Works great. Tried with veggies and leafy vegetables. Best part, apart from Chopper they had included even a whisker which was perfect for extracting butter.

Nice product for kitchen productivity
Its a nice product. I bought it to speed up kitchen preparation time for my wife.Pros -It really saves your time in those rush hours. Cuts your vegetables nicely. You may not like the mince, but minced vegetables cook faster. The construction looks durable so far.Cleaning is easy. The parts fit easily and snugly.ConsThe vegetables you put in comes out minced. There is hardly any control to control the size. You may control some degree but not much. In the same rationale you can NOT expect the vegetables to come out in cubes or striped shaped. The plastic container looks strong but don't know if it breaks, what I am going to do to get a replacement.Overall a nice product.Get one for your home. I dithered buying between getting Orpat and Morphy Richards but finally chose Orpat. Its definitely a value for money.

It chop vegetables in pieces not good for making chutney but yeah easy to go for those veggies which need to be eaten as a thick form in sabji or rice or whatever

It's ok, satisfactory performance
After using for over a year, I can say its just about ok, does its job of chopping veggies. How fine or coarse you want the veggies depends on how you pulse the chopper (I mean press the button tab several times). But you won't get perfect desired chopping consistency for all veggies. It's not possible with this chopper. I generally use this for chopping onions, cabbage, cucumber to fine size. For eg, when I use this chopper for cucumber cutting, the chopping becomes too much as compared to when I hand grate with a steel grater. I like the grater consistency better than the chopping. But that's my personal taste. Though its ok, however, don't expect a performance of food processor from this chopper. You can even chop ginger (if taken on large quantity) to a grated consistency, but it won't be a paste. Same with garlic. Also, you can blend curd with the blender accessory. Easy to clean. Handy at times of kitchen rush/peak hours.

After 6 and half years, it is still in working condition.
For close to 7 years, it was used 3 or more times every single day, but it just did not give up.I finally wanted to replace it, just because it had gotten old. I wanted to buy it again, but just for a change, I bought Borosil, which is 1.5 times more expensive and has two sets of blades; this chopper has only one set.Only once did the wire burn near the motor, around 2–3 years ago. I removed the burned portion of the wire and soldered it again. Since then, there has been no issue.I gave it to someone who needed it, and those people are using it now.
