A very powerful processor for the money for not creat for crunch sounds.
A very powerful processor for the money. Well made, too and the battery lasts for ages. Easy to edit, with a good range of well-chosen effects, although some dedicated overdrive pedal models as well as amp models. Good clean and high-gain sounds, but as with most such products, it falls down on those hard-to-get, in-between crunch sounds. It seems I'll still need to save up for a Helix Stomp! The main fault, though is the very noticeable dropout when switching between presets.

Portable Guitar Headphone Amp: Compact Practice Device with Versatile Sound Options
The Guitar Headphone Amp is an affordable and versatile tool for quiet practice sessions, blending portability and solid sound features for just £66. While it’s designed with guitarists in mind, its capability as a mini multi-effects processor and integration with amps and speakers makes it an intriguing device even for those interested in audio gear.Audio Versatility:This headphone amp delivers 14 amp models that replicate popular setups, ranging from clean tones to higher-gain options suited for heavier styles. While not a replacement for full-size amps, the variety is impressive for its size and price. Paired with 14 built-in effects like reverb and delay, it adds depth and versatility to the audio, creating a soundstage that can be used for practice or experimentation. The line-out feature is particularly handy for connecting to larger speakers or recording through external devices. This extends its usability beyond just personal practice, letting you explore its tonal range through more powerful audio setups.Convenience & Features:Its Bluetooth integration allows for seamless streaming of backing tracks, which is ideal for improvisation or rehearsal. The USB recording feature further expands its versatility, making it suitable for capturing quick demos or ideas directly to a PC or mobile device. It’s compact enough to carry around easily and fits securely into standard guitar setups thanks to the adjustable jack input. The battery life is serviceable, providing around 3.5 hours on a full charge—enough for a few practice sessions before needing to recharge via USB-C. While the device’s overall build quality feels somewhat lightweight and plastic, it’s acceptable at this price range.Minor Drawbacks:There are a few quirks that might require adjustment. The volume dial is sensitive and prone to accidental changes, while the LED colour system for selecting settings can be tricky to distinguish. Additionally, its design may not suit all guitar configurations equally, with edge-mounted jack sockets being a little awkward to adjust.Final Thoughts:The Guitar Headphone Amp is a practical and portable device that offers impressive sound flexibility for its price. Its compact design, USB recording, and ability to connect with speakers or amps make it an excellent addition to any audio enthusiast’s kit. While it has minor limitations, the combination of features and affordability makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone exploring quieter practice or experimenting with sound. 🎸🔊

Easy to use and loads of great amp models
This is really useful for when you want to jam on the guitar, but don't want to wake up the rest of your house/neighbours, especially for harder metal styles. It's very simple to use. Just plug it in, choose the amp style you prefer, then plug your headphones into it.There's a line-out too, so you can hook this up to the computer to record, if you so wish. For studio work, I tend to just stick to Guitar Rig, which is obviously way more versatile and powerful, but for casual noodling, or trying out riffs in a variety of amp styles, it's a really useful, portable and decent-value device.

So many functions - Brilliant!
I must admit I had quite low expectations from this, however I have been quite pleasantly surprised. The device is small and very lightweight and plugs into your guitar 1/4" jack. If this isn't convenient, you can get a female to female adaptor and just hook up a standard cable to your guitar and plug this box into the other end - this arrangement works better for me.The amp is rechargeable via a USB-C port which also supports Pc connection so you output the sound to or through a Pc for recording/mixing purposes. This was an unexpected bonus! Alternatively you can output to a set of headphones via a standard 3.5mm jack. There's so many different sound effects possible I've been playing around with this for a while and nowhere near done exploring the possibilities yet. I'm really enjoying the different reverbs. It's also got a built in drum-machine with 28 different rhythms you can play to. If it sounds complex it really isn't - there's a rich variety of effects to play with, but configuring them isn't that difficult.Really nothing here to dislike. It's an amazing little amp that adds so much to your playing.

Very Good
Very good at mobile effects. Use it for jamming sessions saving a plug board and extension cables. Only downside is Amp pedal jumps volume - need to adjust parameters on live out put but that's fiddly - still experimenting with presets and no use of the app yet - tuner is very sensitive.

Great little Amp
This little amp is the perfect way to connect your headphones straight into your guitar. The amp is well made with a great selection of reverbs and delays. It comes with instructions and a USB charging lead which makes the amp last for about 3 hours of use.Overall this amp produces great sound quality in a small functional unit.
