Men's Waterbury 39 mm Watch - Black Leather Two-Piece Quick Release Strap Black Dial Stainless Steel Case TW2W14700

For my first ever TIMEX, this model is an amazing surprise. Finished perfectly, the case has a bit of heft, the leather straps are above its price range, great quality. Now the interesting parts, what you get for the money: - signed crown, beautifully made - screwback case - great finish for the case (stainless steel) - 3D arabic numerals indices which give a lot of depth to the dial and make the watch look way above its price - decent and well made leather straps, marked buckle - logo counterweight on the seconds hand (really nice) - Easter Egg Waterbury logo at 18:54 mark (very cool) So, TIMEX put some effort into The Waterbury collection. This model in particular stands above with the great dial details and the manufacturing quality (yes, the second hand aligns perfectly!!) Overall, this model is underpriced. The Date/Day setting was a breeze and took me under 1 minute to set. Buy it with confidence, it's an amazing 39mm sturdy and well done, daily watch. Great job TIMEX!

I struggled to set the day, but another review now points out that this is done by rotating the hands 24 hours and then the day changes...I wish this had been explained in the instructions so I hadn't sent it back. As observed in other reviews, the crown mechanism pulls out a bit too easily. However, this has a steel case which has screw back which is rare for timex watches at this price. Next best Timex is just over £100, and that's where you need to go for a good one. £100 to £300+ is where better Timex watches exist, most other watches sub £100 are made of cheap Brass with chrome coatings and so they tic too loud. This watch was nearly silent...because it's solid steel, so the loudness of timex is mainly with plastic or brass cases coated in chrome which eventually flakes off.

Black Friday bargain. All steel with screw down back, with a quality finish and good weight. The face is a joy, clear raised numerals and accurate setting action. The lume is excellent after exposure to a torch, as is normal with any lume . The strap is outstanding supple substantial leather and a good size. The second hand hits the marks consistently. A recommended buy

The watch looks great but the day complication was in Spanish. Not ideal for me as that is not my first language.

I have numerous watches, some cheap and some expensive. This is without doubt the best finished affordable watch I have seen. It has a lovely weighty steel case with perfect facets of brushed ,(mostly) and some slight edge polishing. It has a very nice signed crown and unusually for Timex a screw down case back (they are usually snap back). The numerals are raised and lumed giving a lovely depth to the dial. It actually looks better in real life than in the pictures!

Die Times TW2W14700VQ (Timex Waterbury Traditional) kam pünktlich und das Uhrwerk funktioniert. Die Uhr hat eine Tages- und eine Datumsanzeige. Leider kann ich nur die Datumsanzeige einstellen und nicht die Tagesanzeige. Und nein, für 100 Euro ist es nicht okay, dass ich so lange die Stunden- und Minutenzeiger drehe, bis der Wochentag passt. Zudem ist die Wochentagsanzeige zweisprachig und ich konnte die Sprache nur über einen Trick einstellen. Damit ist die eigentlich schöne Uhr leider nicht voll funktional. Die Ziffern sind erhaben, aber die Zeiger sind glänzend, was aus meiner Sicht die ganze Uhr unnötig abwertet. Ziffern, Stunden- und Minutenzeiger phosphoreszieren (sie leuchten im Dunkeln nach, wenn sie vorher beleuchtet wurden), das ist okay, aber das habe ich bei China-Uhren in der Preisklasse auch schon besser gesehen.

Un bell'orologio adattabile a ogni ambiente. Dettagi curati nella cassa, nel fondello e negli indici rialzati del quadrante che danno un bell'effetto di tridimensionalità. Cinturino in pelle di qualità. Worth it!
