Red thread yarn
It works perfect for what I am making

Lovely!
This yarn is fantastic. It is twisted differently than most commercial yarns, which makes it easier to use in my opinion. The color is delightful, and it works up very well. I'm using it for a granny square blanket that I'm crocheting. Though, I think it would look great knitted as well.

A bit rough
The cotton yarn comes on a cardboard tube. You must remove the label to find the yarn tail. The label indicates the brand and that it's cotton, but doesn't show the yarn size, what size crochet hook or knitting needles are recommended, or care instructions. It is similar to Lily Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn in size and feel. The yarn itself is three strands of thread that is knit in what appears to be similar to an I-cord. This makes the yarn easy to work with - there is no fuzziness to it and it doesn't split. However, the skein I got had several imperfections, including a knot tying two strands together and places where one of the three strands was cut and frayed. My project was a curly octopus for a newborn, as babies like to grasp the curly tentacles. My hands got pretty dry using this yarn (typical for working with cotton) and the finished product didn't feel soft like I would want for a baby. I washed and dried it, but it didn't change the way it felt. This yarn is sturdy and strong and well suited for things like trivets, potholders and microwave bowl cozies.

Guessing Game -- No label information
I know the description on Amazon lists the amount of yarn, but the label has absolutely NO information other than it's cotton yarn. So, if you buy it and keep it in your stash for a while, you won't know how many yards of yarn you have. Also, no information in weight of the yarn (is it a 3 weight? a 4? No one knows!) but feels like a thinner 4 but not thin enough for a 3, but that's just my guess. Also, no information on recommended hook or needle size, so there's another guessing game. I finally decided on a 5 mm hook and it worked up OK. Feels a bit like Lily's Sugar n Cream, but not as stiff. It will work fine for any application you normally use Lily's for. I got beige, so I really can't speak to color vibrancy or longevity.

Quality Soft Cotton Yarn
My daughter is using this yarn from Anskeoow for crocheting a tote bag with mixed colors and using this black cotton yarn as it's border. She said it's a good choice for her project because it's not a stretchy yarn which is better for making structured items like tote bags. She appreciated that this yarn is a natural fiber like cotton. She also said it felt soft against the skin. She said the overall quality is good and is very happy with the product.

Very stiff
I find this yarn to be very course hard to work with due to stiffness.

Not at all Stretchy
This bright orange yarn is woven really nicely. It's great for beginners to crochet as it won't get split apart by the hook. One note is that this yarn is not forgiving in stretchiness. It is not stretchy at all so if you have slightly uneven stitch sizes it'll probably be somewhat more noticable than a yarn with some stretch. The quality feels nice and the size of the spool is nice. I think this yarn could be used for a variety of crafts.

Great for bags
I used this to crochet market bags and they came out perfect! The cord style yarn makes its very sturdy with little stretch. The yarn is also stiffer which is a plus when making bags. I may try making hats next with them. The color is vibrant and the yarn is super easy to work with. Easy on the hands and works up fast. Love it!
