Cheap
Very cheap. Been recommending this to all my friends and gifting some. GPS works very well. Very easy to install. Connects to satalites in seconds. Start and stop is sensitive. Would get another one for my other bike. Love the coospo brand.

First Bike Comptee
First bike computer, so nothing to compare it to, but have logged about 700 miles on it and no issues. Used in rain and heat- all good. I’ve heard some other bike computer have this same issue, but have found that it won’t log correctly if you deviate from a loaded course.

Bad privacy and data collection
This looks like a good product. However, it requires you to use their app and register and give them lots of data. The privacy and use policies are bad. I am going to see what functions I can use without the app and registration. It will go back if I can’t use most functions. Update: I can use the device for what I need without registering or using the app. You can do quite a lot in this mode without app. Good product with many functions. I upgraded from 1 star to 4. I still don’t think you should have to register and use an app to get full functionality from a product especially where the app scrapes and capture huge amounts of data.

Vital info for training.
Use this every day while on my bike trainer. I have used them for the last 90 sessions and I can tell you all the important data I have accomplished. It's important to compare the different days rides to watch for problems or issues. Now I bought a second one for my other bike. very easy to transfer the data to the app they have that is on my phone. Good job Coospo!

Monitor your bike ride for less than $70.
3 sec average power, cadence, grade, distance, speed, temperature, ride duration, heart rate...Those are the measured values on my default screen. The CS500 has many more options. There are a few dozen screen formats, allowing us to display more or less on up to 5 screens. It will cycle through the screens, or you can do it if/when you want. I dropped HR today in favor of grade. You need to buy and attach sensors (speed, cadence, power) to the bike and wear a HR strap, pair those with the CS500 once, and you're ready. When you turn it on it finds GPS satellites near you (for your position in 3D) and it monitors your sensors, measures and calculates dozens of values, displays what you asked for and stores the rest, and you can upload files to the CooSpo app for sending to Garmin, Training Peaks, etc. It's very useful, very reliable, the USB rechargeable battery lasts for weeks between charges, it's pretty sweet. The manual covers the basics but sometimes you have to study the screens carefully to figure out how to get what you want when setting up your data pages. It's worth the effort though.

Impossible to beat at this price!
I wasn't familiar with this brand but decided to try it out after watching a few YT reviews. It's a nice-looking compact unit and the construction feels sturdy. There are many screen customization options to suit any rider's preferences and the GPS lock is solid. It takes a little while to acquire a signal but it's easy to see when it's ready to use. All the functions work well and their app is quite good too.I did have an issue with the speed/cadence combination sensor but Coospo offered to replace or refund that part of my order without hesitation. Their customer service is very good and attentive. I still can't believe how little the CS500 costs relative to other computers on the market so I can't recommend this enough. You get quite a bit for just a fraction of what other brands charge and I'd buy this again without hesitation.

No
The computer kept dropping the connection with the sensors. I returned it.

Can't beat it for the cost
I couldn't bring myself to pay $300 or more for a bike computer. I mainly want to track fitness and have used a BC107 for that. I saw the CS500 and got excited about navigation and connection to electronic shifters to monitor battery level and current gear.Pros:* Least expensive bike computer with navigation I've found.* Works with ANT+ Speed, Cadence, and HR sensors (I use Coospo and Garmin sensors)* Configurable page displays. You can also disable pages you don't use so you don't have to scroll thru them* Uploads to Strava* Great battery life* navigation gives you a sanity check of your position and some basic cues for turns* you can create a gpx file from a previous ride recordCons:* Navigation only shows a track of gpx file waypoints. Useful when following a course as long as you have a gpx file. It does not show any other mapping info or allow you to enter a destination address. Not that I expected it to at this price point. I'll use my phone if I get lost.* Despite saying it connects to electronic shifters, it currently only works with SRAM, not Shimano Di2. Disappointing because I have Di2. They say it's coming in a future firmware update.* Customer support will respond, eventually (34 days on my last inquiry and the response was not helpful). Not within 24 hours as they advertise.
