The listing was spot on in describing them. The size, color and fit was all on point. These make nice and easy to wear slippers around the house. I would strictly keep these in my house and not wear them out and about because I don't think that is what these are made for. If your looking for a comfy light slipper to wear around the house these would fit that bill.

I've been wearing slip on sneakers like this for years and had no idea they were inspired by traditional martial arts shoes until I saw these so I was really excited to get the OG pair. I love that these came with black soles because white soles are so high maintenance but more common.These are simple and generally comfortable, with a few notes. They're more slipper style so adding an insole with a little cushion will go a long way. They're true to size so depending on insole you add, you may want to size up a little. Unlike most of the modern sneaker styles of these, they don't have lining under the uppers on the inside (meaning the seams of the side elastic bits aren't covered and touch your foot). If you have sensitive skin on the tops of your feet, for all day wear, you will want to wear socks because these will rub against your feet on a long walk. I'm guessing that's more traditional construction but I didn't know that and it's not obvious from the photos so it's worth knowing. For wearing as slippers and quick trips, these are great even without socks.

These are so incredibly comfortable. I like to get these any time I can. I wear them all the time, except when it is raining because then my feet will be all wet. Otherwise my feet are not all sweaty and stinky.

The shoes are fine except I wished they have a wide size. It is a basic martial arts shoes but serves its purpose. However, if I were to order it again and it has a wide size, I might prefer the cloth sole only shoes.
