Fairies Paperback – December 8, 2017

Being a fan of Daimler already, this was a long-awaited addition to their already sizable contributions to fairy research and the preservation of the fairy faith in modern times. Including anecdotes and practical applications as well as a direct summary of several classes of fairies and what they are capable of fulfills the promise made by the title. An essential addition to anyone's library when it comes to true fairy lore.

This is one of the best books on Fairies, an excellent resource to educate and support those interested to pursue a Fairy-based spiritual path. Morgan Daimler is one of the most respected authorities on this subject, and "Fairies: A Guide to the Celtic Fair Folk" is one of the best books on the topic, stripping down the New Age fluff oftentimes attached to Fairy, combing thoroughly to get out distortion, and restoring the image of the Fair Folk as once encountered in authentic lore and old traditions. A great gift for which I am immensely grateful.

Whether you believe or not, this is well-researched, personal, and an informative read. If you have ever watched Supernatural or read any Laurell K. Hamilton books you may feel familiar with some of the author's cast of characters. However, this book contains centuries' old twists based off of the folklore. Absolutely worth a read.

I would recommend any of Morgan's books to anybody that wants a nuanced, balanced view of the Fair Folk. They are well-researched, academic, and spiritual. Respect is first and foremost in her books and it's a concept I highly agree with.

My first book besides the pagan portals edition about the Fae folk by the author. A fantastic book to read. Very informative.

Morgan Daimler is one of the only authors writing on the fey, that really knows whereof they speak. Morgan has real, intimate experience with the subject. Her delivery is no-nonsense, backed by reference to a broad variety sources, and easy to process. Highly recommended as an introduction to the Fairy faith.

Morgan truly loves her subject and it shows. I have read several of her works they are all very well-researched and flow naturally to their suppositions and conclusions. I love these works. Thank you for letting your love Shine through.

I absolutely ADORE this book. Not only does it give proper clarifications on such obscure things that are hard to find online (such as the Courts and what defines Folk within them), but it also serves an encyclopedia for those searching for creatures, rituals and the works.A very handy book to have if you're into fae literature!

Morgan Daimler's work is accurate and true to the Irish traditions with which I am most familiar (each of our 'Celtic' countries is quite distinct, believe it or not). Excellent research, often based on the author's own translations of our original source lore, marries with a genuine lived experience that is difficult to match in any other works. Highly recommend reading everything by Morgan Daimler.

It is a different look at the fairy world then we’re used to in the western culture. Very cool read. It came shopped from England to Canada long before Christmas and at the beginning of the estimated arrival date. I’m very happy with Wordery. Thanks!

This was my first introduction to the fair folk and the book is a great place to start. It is informative and covers a lot of ground which was great for me as initially I just wanted to know a bit more about them.However as a result of reading this book I now want to know more so will certainly be looking at more of Morgan's work.Overall this is a great read with good insight into the hidden places of the Otherworld.
