Great for the price
This slide and film viewer is considerably better that I thought it would be. The main reason for that is the light source is not dazzling but is bright enough for the purpose and it is even. For a quick check of slides you don't even have to put them in the viewer but can hold them in front of the lens.Only minus is the short USB cable - it may be worth buying an extension if you don't have one already, although four AA-type batteries are included. I am always reluctant to leave batteries in a device that will only be used occasionally.

So much better than the older type of yesteryear.An advantage having the negatives addition.Worth the 20 quid.

Suits our needs
We inherited a box of slides and wanted to view them and sort them before getting them converted to JPEG at the local Max Spielmann - this viewer has suited our needs and have been great memories looking at them - it has a battery or power lead option (you need to supply the plug, I think its USB A) would recommend this if you just want to view the slides.

Not what I expected
Got this product to view old negatives but to be honest I may as well have shone a light behind them myself.

Good Value for Money
I found a box of slides recently - only about 30 of them, so just needed something affordable to view them. This arrived promptly, well packaged and in tact. Easy to use, a reasonable viewing screen. Sadly the battery switch does not work so I have to use it with the power cable which is really very very short. (I did try a different set of batteries just in case, no change). However I was able to view my slides bringing me back many memories. This is good for the occasional viewing.

Very pleased with my purchase, the pictures are amazing, some are old but they look great you would think that they had onlyjust been taken, this is a must for your slideshow.
