Perfect for every sized Paleontologist
It is perfect for my little paleontologist. I participate in DiNovember, so I ordered this necklace, buried it in the dirt and had my daughter's dinosaurs leave her a note to come dig!

Too cute, lovely quality (UPDATE)
Just... omg. Love this dangly dino so much! The 90s dino loving kid in me is squealing. Cute clasp looking thing in the back with the name of the company on the other side. Excellent black gel shine! The photo does NOT do it justice at all. Will go great with my mostly black wardrobe ;) keep it up guys!EDIT: the hook part that keeps the necklace together got some black paint chipped off, I'm guessing this only happens to this black one because it's enamel coating on silver. Luckily it's on the back so it'll never be noticeable, just kind of a downer.(UPDATE June 5, 2017)- I have only worn in a few times and I'm disappointed the black coating has already been chipping off even more, not just on the clasp and the rings that connect the body parts, but the body parts themselves! It looks messy and old :( I'm sad about this...

Much nicer than expected!
I am wary about buying inexpensive jewelry because it often can look really junky. I mean, I like all kinds of things from real gold and gemstones, to Lucite, silicone, or recycled things. But cheap is cheap and I just don't like the look of something that seems like it is ~trying~ to look one way, but fails (like if paint is sloppily applied or shapes are messed up or edges are ragged and sharp.)I thought this was such a clever necklace design though, so I took a chance. I was VERY happy with the item when it arrived! The individual "bone" pieces are all different (not some stamped out piece stuck together in multiples), the edges don't look super mass-produced where the edges are unclean or rough, and the links are nice. The little jump rings in between the bone sections are not welded, just pinched together, so this thing won't hold up to a hard yank, but many of my jewelry items are like this, even sterling and gold items. The chain doesn't look like an expensive chain, but not something as cheap as a gumball machine chain either. It has a decent weight to it, like it is actually made from some sort of metal, not that plastic stuff with a shiny coating.I couldn't decide between the "Silver" and "Antique Silver" one. I thought the Antique one, with its black highlight color, would show the bones more. But I liked that the silver one was more shiny. so I got them both! (My daughter took one.) The Antique one has a more pewter-type look to it (you can see from my photo) and the silver one is indeed shiny. It resembles sterling silver. I attached photos so you could see the difference between these two colors and the relative size next to a penny.I did add a little necklace extender to mine to make it lay further down on my chest below the top of my shirt. I didn't want half the t-rex on skin and the other half getting stuck on my collar. I don't really wear things that are too low cut too often and didn't want it jammed up too close to my neck, so the extender made it so it laid perfectly on my shirt, just about about a half-inch to an inch lower. Much longer you may not get the item to stay flat and look right instead of bunching like a "U" shape...it is flexible so it needs your body under it to support it flat.Everyone that sees it thinks it is funny and cute. I don't tell them that it was so inexpensive! I am actually here today because my sister now wants one! She saw it and said "Is that a coral design?" Then she looked a second more and squealed, "Ooooh, it is a dinosaur!!! Where did you get that?! I want one!!!" So I am going to surprise her.

Mrs. Frizle would approve
Earrings and necklace don't match, but this is still super fun!I deducted one star because the finishes don't match and that wasn't in the description. The earrings are an antique silver finish and the necklace wasn't an antique finish but rather just a polished finish.Maybe if I had ordered the antique silver set they would match?Still, for the low price it's worth the purchase. My dinosaur loving boys loved mommy's new necklace and the earrings even more. The necklace is made up of some skeleton pieces connected by jump rings so that helps it lay nicely on your neck. We turned one leg to make it look like it was in mid run. From far away it looks like an abstract necklace but definitely a dinosaur skeleton close up.I'm thinking of dressing up as Mrs Frizle with a dino print dress and dino jewelry. This fits right in with that!If you're on the fence just order, it comes nicely packaged and is super fun. Just maybe go with the antique silver so maybe it matches.

cool necklace but part broke right away (not a major part)
5 stars for the design, creativity, and overall product. It's such a cool find and a great way to jazz up work clothes (I work at a non-profit that leans to the casual side of business casual - I wouldn't suggest this if you are a lawyer, consultant, accountant, etc.).4 stars because part of the extender in the back broke off after 1 wear. It's not a huge deal and I probably won't notice a difference but it's disappointing to have a new item break immediately. It also makes me a little nervous when I wear it now because I'm a little worried about it breaking and getting ruined or lost.

Exactly as expected, Not well made
I absolutely adore this necklace! I bought it when we opened a Dinosaur exhibit at my work (Children's Museum) and it was perfect! The only problem I had was it was very fragile- a leg fell off after the third time I wore it. I got it for very cheap so I shouldn't be surprised. The fact that someone made a dinosaur skeleton necklace is amazing to me and I absolutely love it, leg or not. I ordered another for my cousin for her birthday. Hers came without arms, but she didn't even notice. I was going to send it back, but she refused. She loved it so much she didn't want me to send it back. I am unhappy it arrived damaged, but thrilled she loved it.

Extremely Cute!
The packaging is very presentable as a gift, on the inside of the postage packaging, it's a dark grey jewellery box with a dark silver ribbon bow accent on top-- immediately presentable as gift.Fit: Some of the pictures for different colours seem misleading. The pictures where the necklace hangs lower than the clavicle seem misleading as my girlfriend has a fairly narrow neck, but the "bones" sit on her clavicle and the legs lead down to her centre chest as some of the other pictures show. I feel it's safer to assume it's closer to being just shy of a choker style necklace instead of a dangling necklace. If your partner or person you care about likes dinosaurs and necklaces, I think this is for them!If this helped, please click the button below!

the tail on the 'long necks' is pretty long, and pokes the neck
the pack came with only 3 long necks instead of two and only one of the middle ones. the tail on the 'long necks' is pretty long, and pokes the neck. the dinos face the same way, which makes them look a little weird while wearing. AND - Worst of all they are made with crappy metal, they infected my ears, and my daughters' ears. we are still trying to remove the black from her piercing holes. yuck.
