There seems to be a number of negative reviews on this product that I don’t think are deserved. Some even returned it. One of the issues might be the installation. It really isn’t hard; you just need the right tools. Most importantly for this type of exhaust tip a C-clamp is needed to flatten top and bottom of the end piece in order to get the sides to bulge out enough to get the screws started on the side clamps - see photos below. The C-clamp needs rubber feet to not slip on the hard steel surface. And even though Phillips head screws are provided it’s best to use a socket wrench (10 mm for this 2025 Subaru Forester tip). Once the screws are started, the tip can be adjusted to its desired location and the socket wrench can be used to tighten the clamps until the tip is solidly fixed in the desired location. Hope these insights help.
