Works a treat:)
I bought this back in May this year for my cockapoo puppy. I have to say that I was sceptical about the whole "amber thing" but I thought I would try it rather than paying for expensive tick products which can be toxic and dangerous to any dogs. This collar is expensive but when I weighed up the price of tick products against this, I felt the difference in price was not huge so I thought I'd try this first and I'm glad I did!! He has been wearing the amber collar since i received it in May and to date we have found one very small tick in his ear! He has obviously grown a lot since May and the collar has accommodated this well. His coat is very thick and curly so a lot of places for ticks to hide but we have not found any when grooming or bathing him. I am very pleased indeed and will be buying one for our new puppy too when he arrives. I would definitely recommend this product.

great alternative to chemicals
I purchased these last summer for my 2 dogs and have not put chemical flee/tick treatments on them since. I was fairly sure they had not got anything since since they were not scratching and i was looking to see if they had, when i gave them summer haircuts a couple of weeks ago using clippers set to 3mm, i did not see 1 flee or tick on either of them. We live in Italy in an area with a lot of fields around which the dogs are always in, so if any dog should get ticks it should be mine. I am so impressed that i have just brought another 2 for our 2 cats, they are not used to wearing a collar so i hope they will keep them on.

I dont often write reviews but in this instance felt I had to.My dog suffers from terrible allergies,so Im always on the look out for natural/non chemical ways to keep ticks off her.This collar has been around her neck for ten days and Ive found just as many ticks as I did before using it.Ive included a picture of the eleven beasties that Ive FOUND.And yes I did give the collar at least five days to work.I also went through her long coat very thoroughly before placing it on her.Please dont waste your money this product does not work

I have had this collar for Six Months now from June to December and have not had any flea problems with my dog. I checked my Westie regularly during the time period I've owned the collar and on the few occasions I came across a flea it was disoriented and on the surface of the fur not close to the skin where you would expect to find them . I would highly recommend this product and it has to be better than chemical solutions

Excellent effective product
I have found these collars to be excellent(both my cats now have one) one of my cats has a flea allergy and so far since starting to wear this collar there have been no fleas, also prevents the use of pesticides on my cats which I am not happy about doing, an excellent product, thank you very much

Lovely collar - not suitable for young animals
Arrived a day later than expected but really high quality Amber collar. Exactly as described. Slightly big on my 3 and half month kitten, hence looks like a necklace, but he doesn't resist wearing it, allowed me to put it on, and is not constantly try to remove it like he did other collars, also he doesn't scratch, so it's not aggravating his skin. I really like the idea of this natural semi precious stone working with the skins oils to repel parasites as I'm allergic to some of the chemicals in flea treatments. So really hope this works...After three days wear, my cat has started to chew on the individual stones over the last couple of days and there are now 5 stones missing with gaps in the collar, so it doesn't look such a good quality item anymore. I'm also shocked that he was able to break the stones with his tiny teeth. It's such a shame as my initial review was positively glowing.
