This batana oil has a stronger (caramel) scent than others which I have tried. The consistency is smooth when rubbed between my hands and as expected, it really softens my hair practically as soon as it is applied.I must say that although it is good as a steaming agent, it is rather a waste of a good oil to put it in for a short while then wash it out. I apply a small amount to my hair every other evening (especially the hairline and ends) and brush it through and it makes my hair glossy and manageable in the morning. It does not make my hair greasy. In fact, if you want to have a sophisticated updo then brushing this oil through before styling will be a big help.Over time, batana oil has had a profoundly positive effect on my hair. I much prefer it to castor oil. My hair has become thicker and has body now, and the ends behave. The scent does not linger either, but my hair smells amazing.

I have tried two other batana oil products, in liquid oil form, and now with this pomade feel I'm getting to 'know' batana oil as there has been inconsistency in appearance and scent across prior brands I've tried. This pomade has a cocoa-nutty-slight-coffee scent with an undercurrent of what smells like cress to me. The texture is light and soft as opposed to gluely/gummy and dissolves well on contact with skin/scalp. A little goes a long way, and although set like a pomade it is nowhere as greasy as your conventional hair grease i.e. Blue Magic, Dax; I'd say it has 20-30% of the grease factor of those types of items (100% being max grease). I'm using on my scalp on a patch where I've lost hair and my hair ends. I really like the texture of this batana oil and on the basis of this brand would supplement use of batana liquid oil with this. Application wise I prefer applying this on my hair line and targeted areas of the scalp and hair ends, to the liquid oil. I can't speak for hair growth claim because I've just started using but I'm very likely to swap out my Dax Lanolin (which I use to seal moisture in my hair as part of the LCO method) for this. I took an almost instant liking to this product and give 4 stars because (1) I don't know about the hair growth claim, and (2) at the time of review the price was £9.99 on offer for 120g. On the one hand I think the price may be a little steep but I would pay it.

Perfect for a shiny, more manageable finish. This product comes well packaged and once the lid is removed, the smell is almost edible! I simply pull some of the product through the ends of my hair and leave it on for 30 minutes before my shower, then wash off and shampoo and condition as normal. My hair feels like it's fresh out of the salon when I'm done. I'd definitely recommend this. I have thick, naturally curly but straightened hair.

I have always suffered from dry hair, no matter what shampoo or conditioner I use, so now with this Dr Sebi Batana Oil, my hair feels great, nice and soft, and shiny. It is too soon to tell if it prevents hair loss or, promotes gair growth, but my hair looks good whilst I am finding out. I just use it overnight, massage it through my hair for 3 minutes and then let it do it's magic.

Already used a tub! I go through these quickly and I’m very generous with it. Trying a different brand today that has a bigger tub and I’ll see how it goes - this has the same nutty scent and texture. Melts nicely into hair too and it’s fairly easy to wash out!

No sólo me ayuda con la hidratación, sino que me ha ayudado a estimular el crecimiento y a reducir la caída del cabello.Resultados Visibles:Lo que realmente me impresionó de este aceite fue lo rápido que empecé a notar los resultados. En pocas semanas, noté que mi cabello estaba más suave, manejable y brillante. Las puntas, que siempre estaban secas y quebradizas, empezaron a verse más saludables. Meine Haare sind kräftiger, glänzender und deutlich weicher geworden. Besonders beeindruckend ist der natürliche Ursprung des Produkts – es enthält keine schädlichen Zusatzstoffe und wirkt sich wirklich positiv auf meine Kopfhaut aus. Der Duft ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm und erinnert an eine Mischung aus Kaffee und Schokolade. Se trata de aceite de batana natural, que ha de aplicarse como mascarilla y dejar reposar en el pelo durante media hora o una hora antes del lavado regular con champú y acondicionador, el resultado es pelo suave y brillante siempre que no te hayas excedido con la cantidad de aceite, eso podría dejarte el pelo graso. Para distribuir el aceite mejor y gastar menos cantidad en cada tratamiento aconsejo que lo frotéis entre las manos hasta derretirlo y os lo pongáis en el pelo bien repartido y extendido.El auténtico aceite de batana es sólido, no líquido, cuanto más líquido venga más refinado está el producto, lo que no sería deseable.Para beneficiarse de los efectos contra la caída del cabello hay que aplicarse este producto también en el cuero cabelludo, lo que podría ser un problema para las personas que tenemos el pelo graso pero en mi caso no lo ha sido, tras el tratamiento uso mi champú anticaspa de siempre y el pelo me queda suave, satinado y con un delicioso pero ya suave olor a toffee o café tostado y dulce. Tengo ganas de ver los efectos a largo plazo sobre la calidad de mi melena,
