Fantastic quality
This is my second sketchbook from this company and I continue to be impressed. I have been waiting for the watercolor version to be offered on amazon and it was worth the wait! I love that it is a4 size- I only wish there were a portrait version - but the paper has been very sturdy so far. I have made a couple painting in which I glazed heavily and the paper still looks amazing. I haven’t tried any lifting so I can’t speak to that. I will report back if anything goes wrong with the binding but it looks sturdy and the sketchbook itself is lovely. I am very pleased! I would love to see a portrait version and a square version ( like the mixed media).

Really like this
I really like this so far. It isn't the heaviest paper, but it can take a few passes of water, definitely can't use double sided. The cover and paper feel and look very nice. Happy to have it for just sketching practice.

Good value for everyday use, but not perfect condition
I haven't used the paper yet, so can't comment on the quality of that, though it does look a nice thickness and texture for what I want (everyday watercolour practice).Unfortunately it didn't come in perfect condition, as it has a few bumps and scrapes (see photos). One of these does affect the inside pages too which is quite disappointing, but as I have bought this just for a bit of practise, and not for professional use, it is not worth returning.

The watercolour sketchbook I've been looking for
The NOT paper has a nice tooth and behaves just as watercolour paper should: glazing, lifting out, flooding etc. The finish is on both sides. I use it for sketching on location. The binding is stiff enough that you don't need an easel, even on the double spread. The pages hardly curl at all.
