Very Good Quality and Feel - 100% Plastic
I bought the red back deck from another Amazon seller (https://smile.amazon.com/Spanish-Playing-Barajas-Espanolas-Faisan/dp/B0158YN5CC/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8) and liked them so much I decided to get the blue back deck as well.As typical with Spanish playing cards, there are only 40 cards in the deck. There are the numbers 1-7 and three face cards [Jack (10), Horse Rider (11), King (12)] for each of four suites (clubs, cups, swords, coins). Here is the review I wrote for the red back deck. It applies equally as well to the blue back deck from this seller. My son-in-law comes from Chile and he taught us to play Escoba (Broom) with a deck of cards he brought with him. These are the paper ones you can get for $1 that another reviewer mentioned. They were brand new when he got here and we've only used them four or five times, but I noticed they were starting to peel and get worn out already. So, I wanted to find a better quality card and I thought I would give this brand a try. They are actually made by Cartamundi in Mexico and are 100% plastic, they seem to be of good quality, with a smooth feel and attractive artwork. We used them last night to play Escoba and my son-in-law commented that he liked the feel of them and thought they were much better quality than the paper cards he had brought with him. They come in a hard plastic case with a cardboard sleeve over it.

Great purchase. Beautiful cards.
I bought this set because I really wanted to play conquian with my parents. It's a mexican card game my parents grew up playing and wanted to learn how to play so that I can play with them. My initial assessment of these cards is that they are made of plastic. So they are quite slippery but they are thin enough where you can shuffle and deal like normal bicycle cards. The colors on the card are vibrant and beautiful and remind me of the minor arcana in tarot cards. I expect these to last a long time. I am very happy with my purchase. I was worried that they were going to be misprinted like some of the reviews mentioned.
