Pop-tops
These are as close to a tire pressure sensor that are installed on car wheels as it can get for most motorcycles. If the clear plastic top gets messed with, it will pop off.

Great for cars without TPMS installed!
After researching several different brands I decided to go with these. I got the 34 PSI caps for my 1999 Ford Taurus. The instructions say several times not to over tighten and to only turn 1/2 turn more after you here the air stop coming out of the stem. I did just that and these are working great so far. No flat tires. Since my car was built before TPMS was standard (thank god), these are a great quick visual check to see if my tires are properly inflated. These caps are good quality and did not feel or look cheap at all. They cost more than other brands but for $15 it’s better than dealing with a flat tire.Shipping was a lot faster too. They arrived in just a couple days instead of the “expected delivery date”

Extends beyond the rim edge when installed
These caps extends a small amount beyond the rim when installed and can be damaged by getting to close to a raised curb when tire rotates

A terrific, and ingenious, low-cost tire pressure monitoring system.
I bought these as a low-cost alternative for Tire Pressure Monitoring on my older Chevy Uplander. For some reason, its tires keep deflating slowly, and I have had them checked repeatedly at the tire shop. They are very simple to install, and having checked (and, yes, ADDED air to two of the four tires) I screwed these on. It's very easy to tell when the tire hissing ends, and I gave them just a half-turn after that. As an old guy, it's nice to know I don't have to get down and check the pressure repeatedly with these in place. I'll update this review when the tire caps tell me to replace air and share the results; but overall, this was a good buying experience, fast delivery and a very reasonably-priced alternative to premature tread wear from underinflated, expensive (and leaky) tires.

Gf car walk around
My girlfriend isn't very knowledgeable when it comes to what is normal and not normal when it comes to cars. When you hear, see, feel something different, it most likely is. One of the most worrisome is tire pressure. Most new cars automatically tell you when pressure is low, hers it not one of those. A couple time either myself or someone else has pointed out that her tire is almost flat. Instead of doing the kick, press, or see tire is going flat, this plug is a very easy reliable way to know if the tire is going flat before it gets bad. Works great and accurate. Would get for any car that doesn't have a tire pressure monitor.

Works if installed correctly - not worth it.
Works if installed correctly - not worth it.Installed on my motorcycle rear per instructions and lost air mid ride. What’s the point of this item if you have to always worry about losing air if you accidentally twist too much. Bottom line is you don’t get the peace of mind that you will install it correctly every time.

Work great for RV trailers!
Bought these for my RV trailer so I could keep an eye on the tire pressure without breaking the bank. Wanted to wait until I had the for a few months so I could give an honest review. They work great, had them on the trailer since January and been on multiple camping trips since then. No leaks, work as described. For a couple of weeks I verified that they were reading accurately and was always satisfied. Now When I do my walk around be for I travel, I just look and if it’s green I’m good to go.

Meh...your taking a gamble on them.
Top piece that indicates air pressure fell off one of the caps. Contacted seller and their first words was that it was my fault for installing it incorrectly. Wow. The instructions clearly state that if the cap is incorrectly installed, the tire will lose air....not fall apart. Here is the exact message from the seller, "It sounds like you have damaged the part if some it is missing. You can return the part and we will examine to see if it is a manufacturer defect. We do not sell individual parts. If that is what you choose to do, please put in a return request.Other option would be to purchase a new set."
