Nom, XO sauce!
I used these along with some dried scallops to try making XO sauce. If you have not had XO sauce, you should! It's an amazing thing to have in your life! But what surprised me about the shrimps is that when they rehydrate, they are a decent replacement of fresh shrimps in say, soups or curries. Not bad to eat as is either.

Salty shrimp
The container is smaller than expected and it is salty, not suitable for snack.

More like shrimp jerky than completely dried shrimp
I bought these to grind up to help add flavor to dishes like Pad Thai where I want to boost existing shrimp flavor. My complaint is that I thought these were going to be completely dehydrated and grind easily. Instead, these are more like shrimp jerky and can really only be chopped finely instead of pulverized into a powder like I was hoping to do to them.

Great
Quite portable

The size of the shrimp is a cheat.
On the ad display, it shows the size of the shrimp is 1 1/4” with a ruler next to the shrimp. The actual size is about 1/2”
