Works great for replacing a broken shot sensor on a pop shot

this E3F-DS30C4 6-36VDC NO Optical Proximity Switch uses a Diffuse Reflection Photoelectric Sensor to detect objects up to a foot away. The beauty of this prox is not having to have a special target to make it function.I used this in a fun little project to make a door alarm (like the bell in the old shops). I used a 24V DC plug in ps for the prox and relay and kept the wiring for the AC ps for the doorbell. Made a bracket that hung this prox above the door so it would trigger when opened.I use this on my porch entrance and it lets me know the Amazon driver dropped off anther box of stuff.unit worked without issue, adjusting for distance was simple

The media could not be loaded. In initial low-voltage testing, I found the default sensing distance for the unit I received to be around 50mm.Using a 6V power source and small fan, I didn't even need a relay as the sensor's trigger and fan's voltage/current requirements were happy enough without.Response was instantaneous, predictable and repeatable.5 stars for quality and ease of use, would order again.
