Mercers Furniture Corona 4 Drawer Chest, Wood, Antique Wax, 80 x 41 x 73 cm

Lovely piece of furniture, easy to assemble but need to take your time to avoid any mistakes. I changed the drawer knobs to ceramic and this really lifted the look of the furniture. I'm using as bedside cabinets so only underware and pajamas in the drawers. My only concern is the strength of the drawer bottoms as it's a only thin hardboard base. Looks really nice in my bedroom and will buy the bookcase and dressing table to accompany them. I would recommend! 🥰

Item is ok for my needs. Not quite sure of the finish on the front of the drawers. Few mimor splinters, easily removed with fine sandpaper. Transporting box was well sealed struggled to get in.

Saw quite a few negative reviews so wasn't sure if I should order this but I needed a set of drawers, didn't want MDF from Ikea and didn't want to break the bank with solid oak so decided to give this a try.Firstly the negative reviews are way over-done. It doesn't come broken or split. The wood is oiled but not varnished or waxed therefore if you want perfection you'd probably have to sand these down and give them a coat of clear varnish.Assembling is a nightmare. Instructions as per usual leave you with loads of screws and nails and you spend ages trying to find the correct corresponding bits and pieces. Assembly is a minimum of 2 hours maybe longer if DIY is not your thing. Also because the wood doesn't have a varnish there's a risk of splinters so might be a good idea to wear gloves. After assembly the finished drawers don't have splinters its just the internal pieces.Overall look for me was very good for the price. Looks good and is relatively sturdy. You get what you pay for these are reasonably priced, good looking drawers but not premium high quality which you shouldn't expect for this price anyway.

Quite easy to build but not impressed with the drawers.They seem a little bit small as they constantly fall off of the running rails which is not good.

I was looking for a chest of drawers that would match the decoration but at the same time, it had to be good, strong and not so expensive. It was tricky but I found this one which so far had filled all my requirements. Super happy with my purchase ☺️

We ordered three furniture items and when trying to put the chest of drawers together, we found that half the screw holes are not drilled, the screws were mislabelled, so when using the screws it tells you to use, before realising it, half of them don't fit properly, as they have been labelled wrong. But then they are shredded and extremely difficult to get out and reuse. Plus, none of the actual wooden parts are labelled either so it's all guess work!In the end we had to give up on trying to finish the assembly of the unit. Now, what has been partly assembled will have to be broken to fit it back in the box it came in, as every single screw is shredded and we can't get them out. Even though we only used a hand screwdriver, they shredded. It looks like we will have to break it to get it apart.We also bought two matching bedside tables, but do not even wish to attempt to assemble these, as we are likely to have the same problem again.We would like to return all three items for a refund of the money that we have paid, as we do not consider them to be as they should be according to the information given for them. We are not aware how we can do this and would like some advice as to what we should do with regard to returning all three items for a refund.

I bought two of this items. The first one was of great condition and it looks quite nice too. As I was assembling the second one I found that one of the fronts of the drawers was split in half, and there were four parts missing (the sides of two drawers). Instead there were some very small parts which fit nowhere, which I can only assume where not meant to be in the box as the the first chest of drawers did not have them. Now I'm unable to finish assembling the item and I'm waiting for a response from the seller as ideally I would like the missing/damaged parts send to me without having to take apart the rest ofit and send it back because it takes a good while to assemble in the first place.Update: After messaging the seller with specific details of which parts and the exact amount I was missing I was sent some of the requested parts but unfortunately not all of them. I contacted the seller once more stating I was still missing some of the initially requested parts and finally those missing pieces where send to me too.The whole thing was quite the inconvenience but the seller was cooperative and helpful overall.The drawers look lovely now.
