Easy peasy. Take it out of the box, pull the tab and turn your TV on. Compatibility was excellent. Every button was responsive to the TV. Very good value for the money. I'd recommend buy 2 because you can't beat the price and you'd have an extra in case you misplace one.

How I Used It We lost our original Roku TV remote, and was tired of always opening the app to use the TV. I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my husband. What I/He Liked -So easy to setup-you literally don’t do anything. You point it at a Roku TV, and BAM it works. -Simple design-didn’t need the voice control or any other fancy buttons, does what it is supposed to. Final Thoughts No drawbacks for buying this remote replacement. Works perfectly, no lag, and didn’t have to do any crazy setup steps. 10/10 no notes.

It is a factory original, what more can I say? It worked perfectly right out of the box. Since it is is for a Roku TV, it was compatible with my Sharp Roku so there was no setup involved, just install the batteries and go. The dedicated buttons worked without issue, and it has the fit and feel you would expect from a factory original. The problem with the last one we had was we lost it, so it wasn't a durability or function problem, it was a "hey, what ever happened to..." problem. This remote took care of that problem, at least until we lose this one.

These are for Roku Televisions only, not to control separate Roku boxes or sticks. Yes, I realize it says that in the listing and I missed it, so I'm returning these and not trashing the product for my mistake (like some reviewers do). >>> The purpose of this review is to give 4 stars to Roku because these remotes work well, and to ask why Roku makes separate remotes for their TVs vs Roku Boxes/Sticks?? Why can't they make one remote for all Roku devices?? The Roku remote must be programed through the device it's controlling, so why...why...can't they embed the programing for all their gear into every Roku remote?? C'mon Roku..you can do it!!

Works good but sound does not work.

Newer version of this remote. The volume buttons were wearing out and glitching on my old one, so I purchased this replacement. It’s slightly bigger than the last one (see pics), and it was SUPER easy to sync to my TV, by holding down the home & volume buttons at the same time, (I YouTubed or Googled how to do this). Nice remote!

Works immediately, no programming needed (which felt kind of weird, but very convenient.

Great replacement only down fall was the buttons would jam sometimes and it don’t come in the original packaging felt used already but apart from that it’s ok I think the price is a little steep if it’s not actually new.

I’m having trouble getting the remote to connect to my tv It could be me doing something wrong But other than that it’s a great product
