Cheap Chinese Garbage
Comes in a small 4"x4" box. Opening the box finds the device wrapped in a cheap piece of plastic. On one side is the company logo on the other size in a larger font "MADE IN CHINA". Red flag #1. Removing the device from the packaging I notice it has no heft. Light as feather. Red flag #2. Free toy. Nice. Free charging cable. Nice. I turn the device on and see that all three functions work as advertised. Since I figure it should be charged first before use, I use the included cable to start charging it. Device gets very warm after a few minutes. Red flag #3. It gets so hot that I am afraid to leave it charging while near me. So after about 6 hours of charging I remove the device, which has really hot, and start to play with the cat. It lasts all of 5 minutes before going dark. Okay, I'll put it back on the charger. Same thing, gets hot, and after a few hours of charging, it only lasts a few minutes. I tried to charge it one more time and the same thing.Straight into the garbage. Not only is this this a piece of junk, it's a fire hazard. I doubt very seriously that the batteries in the device are even of the rechargeable type, hence the reason it gets warm and could possibly explode.

Excellent product
This is how my cat looks after playing with the light. Picture is sometimes worth a thousand words

Might not charge
Was great the first use but once I tried to recharge it wouldn't. I tried different cables and it's just dead. Its disappointing that it only lasted a month

Great way to exercise my cat!
My cat really enjoys the laser pointer, and I like the fact that I can recharge it via USB... I had a cheap laser pointer and it wore out... I really use this a great deal. My cat likes to rip the paper when I am printing, so whenever I print, I distract him with the red dot to chase. He is so used to this, now when he hears the printer start up, he jumps down and starts looking for the red dot. This pointer has a nice large red dot, very intense, and I am looking forward to using this or a long time. The "screaming mouse" was a tiny squeaky mouse that does not interest my cat at all. It is annoying when I step on it and it squeaks. However, it was a bonus; I was entirely focused on purchasing a good laser pointer.

New life for 12 yo rescue!
Great tool! Recently adopted a 12 yo tabby picked up on the streets of Baltimore by kill shelter and saved at last minute by the wonderful Chesapeake Cats and Dogs rescue organization. He’s THE most loving cat ever, literally gives hugs with both paws around your neck, but has some neurological issues from the deprivation. This toy (tool) has given him new purpose! He waits in a particular spot in the bedroom and looks at me expectedly when he’s ready to play. The laser is bright red and the perfect toy to help my boy get the exercise he needs. Seems to be helping his agility and balance too! Also the black light is useful. Unfortunately, too useful as it has shown me that the $500 I just paid to have carpets professionally cleaned was waste of money. 🙄

Great laser pointer for kitties
I never thought I’d care much about laser pointers, much less rate the quality or review one, but this one is far superior to its $3 Walmart counterpart that we originally got for our new rescue kitty. I looked at laser pointers on Amazon first, and realizing they were ~$10 each on here, figured I’d “save” money buying one in person. Yes, it was cheaper, but with a few caviats-1) Most laser pointers run on batteries, small watch-type batteries that are probably more expensive than the laser pointer. This one is rechargeable with USB, and comes with a cable if you need it2) Most laser pointers require you to hold down the button while you’re using it. Sounds ok in theory, but after playing for a few min, your fingee gets tired. This one clicks on with a sliding button.3) Brightness- the one we originally got started to go between sort of bright and very faded. I thought maybe it needs batteries, but it is still working so it may just be the quality. This one is very bright, but still in the range that is considered safe for animals.4) Squeaky mouse. I wasn’t very impressed by a flimsy rubbery mouse, but my kitty enjoyed the bonus.. until she lost it under the furniture somewhere. All in all, great value and well worth the extra $$ up front!!

Two cats, two toys, too much fun.
If this toy were to break tomorrow, I still think I would have gotten my money's worth. One cat was racing around the living room trying to murder the laser dot while the other was swatting the bejesus out of the bonus squeaky mouse. I may never stop grinning. The flashlight is bright. The UV light is dim, but who cares, the cats don't chase UV light.

cats go INSANE for this! I like it too.
Seems like OK quality. Bought it for the laser pointer and because it's rechargeable. The USB port isn't the best quality, but mine definitely charges. I had a laser pointer before but it took like 5 weird watch batteries and then the button broke. Have a 4 year old cat and 9 month old kitten and both go absolutely insane chasing the laser! And our power went out the other week and I had this in my pocket cause I was playing with kitties, so the flashlight setting definitely came in handy! So far so good, would definitely recommend this laser pointer. And don't worry -- in the video the older kitty is going nuts, but the younger one in the background goes absolutely BONKERS for this too! She's just waiting her turn!
