Shea moisture Organic African Black Soap Bar with Shea Butter, 8oz (3 Pack)

I have sensitive skin and eczema flare ups so I’m careful about the products I use on my face and body. However, I really like this soap and have been using it consistently for almost one year without any adverse side effects. I Occasionally use this soap on my face, more often on my body.I’ve seen a few reviews stating this soap has helped with acne and scarring. I’ve never suffered from acne but I do get scars from my eczema (I’m of African descent and my scars are very dark brown). Truthfully, I’m not sure if this soap alone has helped to clear up my scars, but again, it hasn’t made anything worse. I also use Shea butter to help with the dark marks left from rashes. My scars aren’t completely gone but have improved and this may in part be because of the soap.When I first used the soap I instantly noticed the scent. It wasn’t a bad smell but quite distinctive. I actually don’t mind this as I feel the more organic a product is, the more unlikely it will smell of roses and perfume. After a few uses I no longer notice the scent so much.I am big fan of this black soap, having tried another brand which felt very rough with not a very nice scent. I recently bought these soaps to hand out as stocking fillers for Christmas and my sisters seem to like them.My only negative would be the soap, being black in colour, can leave the shower looking dirty once you’ve finished, but this is minor as I clean my shower often.The soaps took a little long for delivery but did arrive within the estimated delivery dates so I can’t complain. I would recommend trying this product.

This soap doesn’t really have a sent and works well in sensitive skin - of course it differs from person to person. For the recipient it is the only soap that they have been able to use for a long period of time without a reaction.usually after a few months they have to try something else. This one they have been using for years. Reasonably priced by seller.

This is the chestnut for those with ripe armpits. It has been working wonders for me and the rest of the family seem to be enjoying it to. It forms well when set , smell nice and that smell stuck for the rest of the day. I feel it is an added bonus. That smell plus perfume is equal to fresh smell all through the day. This is now a mu a t have for this household. Thank you for such a wonderful invension.

Smells and feels great, will continue to use to see long term benefits but as far as first impression go, it’s off to a good start

Normally not one to leave a review however I used this last night as a body wash.I was suffering from an acne breakout on my chest, shoulders and back and have woken up this morning to all of it gone. I have a few areas of redness where they were but not a single whitehead remaining.Absolutely love this product!

This is now my go to sensitive/oily skin/acne prone soap. I have only been using it less than 2 weeks but I can see the difference on my face and body. Scars and spots on my face and body are clearing and drying. I have tried everything over the years to find something that works with no luck. I am glad I have finally found my go to soap.

These items are insanely overpriced.I didn't realise that these were mini bars of soap and there is a no return policy.

Good price, works well for helping with mild acne. Quite drying but I have very oily skin!Good price for 3! I chop mine in half and have one in the shower and one by the sink.I only use on my face.

Clarfies the skin and moisturises, very nice scent as well.

I like this soap so much. I had a dry patch on my face that no moisturizer or facial masks would hydrate, but after two weeks of using this soap, it was gone. I have combination skin, so this soap hydrated my skin, but also tamed the oiliness in my T-zone. 10//10 would DEFINITELY buy again. I'm on my third bar, and I've even got my mom hooked on it as well. It works wonders for my body as well. It helped get rid of the few stubborn bumps on my back and shoulders. This soap is great for oily skin, acne prone skin, dry skin, combination skin, and any other skin that you may have.

I have acne prone skin and this soap helps that and moisturizes my skin so it’s not dry and flaky.

This is the first time I’ve tried this soap so I didn’t really know what to expect. It has a bit of scent but it smells natural with a bit of vanilla. This bar isn’t as rough as some of the less processed African black soaps so it’s a good one to try if you’re new to this soap. The Shea butter makes the lather feel silky and I think it does help moisturize a little bit. I’m happy I tried this soap and I’m sure I’ll be buying more in the future.
