Natural Light tubular skylights include heavy duty powder-coated Aluminum metal flashing.

Q: How long is the tube from the roof to the ceiling?

The standard Natural Light tubular skylight kit comes with 4 feet of tubing. Additional tubing and elbows are available separately.

Q: Can these help you grow plants?

Yes. If you want the full exact spectrum of the Sun just install it without the white opaque cover at the bottom.

Q: Other than the roof dome being clear or opaque, can anyone tell me the difference between the Model# 10KBPP and the 10KPBPSS?

I called Natural Light Energy Systems nltubular.com with questions, they are very helpful. I asked that question and was told the 10KBP had the prismatic lens on the ceiling to scatter the light. The SS has a soft white lens. They did not say anything about a difference in the dome on the roof, as per clear and translucent.
