Nice neat and sturdy, well made item
I really like almost everything about this battery holder. I wish it had a cover or a top of some kind though. If it got tipped or dropped it would not be fun to pick up all the batteries. It holds alot of different batteries, making them easy to find when you need them. Plus holds several of each kind so can keep quite a few where they can be found quickly. Some days wish it held more of certain kinds like AA and AAA which are the ones I use the most of on a regular basis.Nice to have C and D batteries handy when needed and even has several slots for 9v batteries. The ones I use less often so I'm more likely to have to search for where I put them the last time I used them. The little battery tester is great. It doesn't have power of its own it just uses the power from the battery your testing to show how much power it has. Love the fact that it's connected to the whole case so you always know where to find it. Had 2 others kind of like it that could never be found when I needed them and at least one either someone left with it or set it on a car and drive off with it there. So nice to have one that I can find right away. That way don't have to go get out the big battery charger just to check if a battery has power or not.The batteries just drop into the matching size slot and that's it. Plus a couple small square little holes to hold whatever in them watch batteries or anything you want. Again wish at least had covers over those but it works out okay and if nessassary a piece of tape keeps those parts closed. The only ones that don't have a slot are the little ones for garage door openers. The ones half the size of AAA would be nice if had that two but covers all the main ones most people use. Plus looks nice and alot neater then a bunch of boxes or loose batteries in a drawer or 5. Great little set up and cleaned up several drawers by using it.Very sturdy well made item. Pretty sure it would survive falls and being knocked around seems like made to last for years.

The organizer that meets my requirements
I buy my batteries in bulk from a large members warehouse chain. Name brand, their packaging is a good size larger than what's needed to hold the batteries, presumably to make them more difficult for shoplifters to conceal. But the result was my utility drawer was getting filled up by all these overly-bulky battery packages.Time to organize. My main requirement was something with the capacity to hold an entire bulk package worth of any particular size, with priority being given to AAA, AA, and 9V. Another requirement was that the batteries stay organized when only partially full. Some other clear plastic container options had failings in that regard - not enough capacity and/or batteries would rattle around and mix up if only partially filled. This one met my needs. Large capacity but well organized, fits well in the drawer. Holds all my batteries, including C and D. Added bonus is the included battery tester, which works quite well. There's an imbalance between AA and AAA capacity, it holds way more AA than AAA; I would prefer more AAA capacity and less AA. But one could look at this imbalance as a feature - you can put extra AAA in open AA spots but you can't put extra AA in open AAA spots...It'd be nice if it had a plastic cover, it looks like it could accept one. But really, a cover doesn't serve much purpose for drawer storage, enclosed containers are better for portability, which is not what this is for. I am puzzled, though, with the inclusion of hardware to wall mount this. The batteries aren't a tight fit so it seems like a wall mounted setup would result in a lot of batteries on the floor. But overall I'm quite happy with this organizer.

Great Way To Organize AND Test Your Battery collection
This storage tray is a great way to organize your collection of batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, 9V). The batteries fit easily is the slots provided and will store nicely on a storage shelf. There is also a small tray to store your button batteries. A slotted tray would be better for the button batteries but for this price I am not complaining. I would not recommend trying to wall mount the unit as the batteries will likely fall out of the case since there is no cover provided. Even with a cover, the batteries would then just fall out when you open the cover! If you can find a nice convenient shelf for this case you will be delighted. Much better access to the batteries than having them all loose in a open box.The removable battery tester also provides an easy way to test the condition of your batteries with a digital readout of battery voltage. I had no problem testing many types of batteries from AAA's to button types. Note the sliding part of the tester seems to have a maximum voltage reading of 4V. I had a rare 12V A23 battery which would only indicate 4 V on the sliding tester while it showed the full 12 V on a multi-meter. The 9V batteries are tested on the side edge of the tester and indicate the full 9V range of these types of batteries.
