Item Package Quantity:1 | Colour Name:Black Very few people know it, but last year marked a somewhat dubious 30th anniversary: the birth of the modern single-use “paper” cup. In three short decades, we estimate that over 3 trillion of them have ended up in landfill. Oh, in case you’re wondering, that’s 3,000,000,000,000. The average lifespan of a single-use cup is less than 10 minutes – and due to their plastic content less than 1% will be recycled. So, in what could only be described as the understatement of the century, in 2014 we felt there was an appetite for change! That’s why we created Ecoffee Cup. Made with natural fibre, corn starch and resin it’s BPA, BPS and phthalate free. The lid and sleeve are made with matte, food-grade silicone which is latex-free and designed especially for hot liquids. It has a re-sealable ‘no-drip’ lid, making it perfect to take with you everywhere you go. The whole product (cup, lid and sleeve) is dishwasher safe and should last for years if treated nicely. Available in a wide range of contemporary patterns; bright, vibrant colours or classic prints, Ecoffee Cup is light, bright and beautiful to drink from, with no plastic after-taste. In this enlighted era, there really is No excuse for Single-Use. Choose to Re-use.

Long lasting, easy to use
Well packaged, good value for money.I purchased this a while back. It's easy to carry around in your bag and fits a regular size drink or small. The main cup is easy to hand wash or put in the dish washer and the cup holder and lid are better for hand washing.I'd read in other reviews that there was a rubber after taste from the lid and did find this at the end of drinking a drink, so try and use it without the lid.The cup holder is fairly decent and does prevent you from burning your fingers! Also the cup is pretty robust and I've not needed to replace it, so far :)

Beautiful design, but fragile.
I bought two of these exactly the same. The design and feel is gorgeous and matte black, however one of the cups arrived cracked all the way through. As it is made of bamboo fibres, the material seems quite brittle, so extra care to be taken when using it.

1 Year Later...
...and I have no complaints. I've used this every weekday as my daily commuter coffee cup for nearly a year now and I can't fault it. The bamboo cup, rubber top and rubber grip have been through the dishwasher scores of times and there is no sign of wear and tear. My commute is just over an hour in the car and coffee will stay drinkably warm for the duration. The bamboo cup itself get's quite hot when you fill it first, but the rubber grip solves that problem.I'd imagine there are better options for someone who commutes on public transport or is constantly on the move on foot, but for the car and at the desk (which is what I use it for) it's perfect.

Almost great cup, but good rounder even with drawbacks.
Like that its black, eco friendly, and has a lid, but unfortunately the attachment that covers the mouthpiece went missing and now there is a rather large hole in the centre of the lid. I hate the residue left from sipping, washes away but is unsightly while drinking. After a few min the of use there are no nasty smells like plastic, and unlike other reviews, this hasn't cracked after a tumble.

Nice looking coffee cup with good lid
This is a nice looking coffee cup (I have the matt black version) with a flexible rubber lid that securely seals. The cup does get quite hot when filled but the supplied rubber grip is an effective insulator to make carrying it comfortable. A big ecological improvement over disposable versions.

Upgrade forward, great re-usable cup, adore it!
Purchased as a gift, it is one of the most important things bought this year. So easy to use and clean, so elegant, simple and smartly constructed. Amazed with the cup, bamboo has a nice feel to it. Important. Thank you

Black Coffee for a Black Coffee Cup
Nice cup, does the job, although because it is made of that "eco" stuff, it tends to gather dust rather quickly. Other than that, keeps it warm long enough and seems reasonably strong.

however the lid is very fidderly and won't not recommend trying to place it on a hot hot cup ...
Overall the cup is a decent coffee cup , however the lid is very fidderly and won't not recommend trying to place it on a hot hot cup of coffee , overall a coffee cup with a slightly high price tag considering it's not a thermos cup which I could of purchased for the same price . In all though a stylish looking cup but lid could be better .
