Kensington Garden Reversible Quilt Set, Traditional Floral Patchwork Quilt, 2-Piece Set with Quilt and Pillow Sham - Twin, Kensington Garden

Purchased this one of my spare bedrooms. I had been looking for a quilt for quite some time but did not want to pay the price for the Laura Ashley quilt that I really wanted. This was a reasonable alternative. For the price, the quality is what one might expect, not the highest quality material and is not reversible as it is a plain beige color. It is nice that it comes with a small square decorative pillow and the shams are included. It did have a bit of an industrial smell when first opened but I put it in the dryer with a few scented dryer sheets. This softened the material and eliminated the smell. All in all I would purchase this again for a second bedroom which will not have daily use and frequent laundering which would require higher quality.

I don't know how the picture was taken because the quilt does not look like the picture. The light blue is aqua. All of the other colors are dark and dreary. I decided not to keep it because I don't like the material and the way it feels.The workmanship is also poor. The seams are crooked and the shams do not even come together on the back. It also has to be line dried and that is not mentioned anywhere, all it says is that it is machine washable. I do not have anywhere in my house to 'line dry' something this big.

This is a gorgeous quilt. The picture does not due it justice. I had just got a new bed and wanted to get rid of my bed skirt. I have a full size mattress and was debating what size quilt I would need. Readers suggested I get a king, I'm glad I did. The king size fits about 2.5 inches from the floor and looks great!! It is very well made, I wish I could get accessories like a throw and pillows. It comes with shams. I'm overjoyed with this purchase!!

Purchased this for my guestroom and the colors were exactly what I was looking for. Didn't realize a little throw pillow came with the set so that was a bonus. If your looking to provide a peaceful, homelike feel, and relaxing room for your guest this lightweight quilt makes a beautiful addition. I live near the NJ shore so I wanted my room to have light, airy and relaxing experience for my guests. I'd purchase this again without hesitation. Just remember like I said this is a very lightweight quilt more like a bedspread feel but still very pretty and worth keeping. Added pics of my guestroom with quilt so you could get a better feel of what your getting.

This quilt set (full/queen) is exactly the "look" I've wanted for our guest bedroom. I read some reviews that it was 'scratchy'; my quilt did not arrive feeling scratchy at all, but it did have a strong chemical dye smell. 30 minutes in the dryer on air fluff took care of that!The colors are true to the picture and the size is a nice fit for my standard full size bed, but I think it might be a bit skimpy on a queen bed. The little accent pillow, while not a requirment for my purchase, is a nice touch.The only complaint I have lies with the product description...it did not give the dimensions, so I had to place my order "blind" as to the actual size.FYI - the size is 88x90 (inches)

I was worried about getting this for my king bed, but its worked out well. Our mattress is an iCool and not extremely thick. The quilt comes to the bottom of the mattress all the way around. The colors are more red than in the picture and the quilt looks very vintage. I live in Texas so the thickness of the quilt is perfect. I will have to add a blanket in the winter. Very pleased!~

I bought this to replace a Hedaya Kensington quilt that I bought several years ago, and tho a nice touch is a patterned underside rather than plain white, and it's still a very presentable quilt, the manufacturer has taken some shortcuts: the edge of the quilt isn't scalloped, and there are four rather than five concentric squares made with piping on the quilt--making it less visually appealing. Note that the illustration in the Amazon listing shows it with five concentric squares.

Overall I am pleased with the purchase. Colors are great. The reverse side of the quilt has a different fabric that is not cotton. I would have preferred a reversible quilt with cotton fabric each side. The quality is reasonable for the price point.
