I really like this tray, even though it doesn't defrost meat in "minutes" as stated, I never expected it to be a miracle worker. What I really like about it, is that the meat gets an even defrost, unlike when left out on the counter all day (unless you leave it for many, many hours) or in the fridge. The drip tray is a good idea and if I had bought a defrost tray without one, I'd have been very unhappy after my first use. Typically I defrost my meat in a plastic bag as we buy in large quantities and then separate and store in the freezer, but there is always a lot of moisture that escapes the bag. As long as you're not expecting this tray to defrost as quickly as a microwave defrost setting, you will be pleased with it. I have defrosted huge cuts of meat on it as well for things like a Sunday roast. Wouldn't go back to defrosting the old way now.

Who doesn't occasionally forget to take things out of the freezer? With this tray it isn't such a disaster! Things like bread defrost really quickly on it. I would say it at least halves normal defrosting times. I wouldn't be without it. The drip tray mean no mess on the work surface too. Definitely an improvement on my old one which didn't have a drip tray.

It works very well. I like the cover it comes with. It will be very useful in the summer to keep the pesky flies off the food.

This is a handy little tool. The time it takes to defrost is no different from on a plate. However, I noticed that because the liquid drips onto the tray, the food is dryer than if it has been sitting in its own juice. Therefore the food is much tastier. In my opinion this equipment cannot be used for anything other than defrosting.

The defrosting tray does exactly what it says on the tin, but the addition of the drip tray is a huge benefit. Usually I'd end up with meat / fish juices on the worktop when defrosting, but they all catch in the underneath tray with this model. You can then easily wash it all up.Fast delivery & great product. I would definitely recommend.

Cheap and nasty, doesn't work as it says it does & once stuff does start defrosting (which is no quicker than leaving it on a plate on the side the juices & water totally miss the supposed drip tray & go all over the kitchen surface. Will be throwing mine away.

Sadly this does not defrost any quicker that putting your food on a plate!

This has been a god send and does defrost food very fast, although I'm not entirely convinced about the 7 time faster claim.It is very easy to clean and takes up little space.The only thing I have found is that the drip tray being made of plastic cracked after a few uses. I feel it would be far better to provide something stronger such as metal or silicone.It does the job, but you need to work on a better solution for catching the run off from defrosting foods.
