Great start up Book

I play trumpet and needed this book for school, this book had really good sheet music while having high-quality paper. I recommend it to beginners, as it is good at helping people start.

This was purchased for my sons music class. It works ok but the new versions are so much more interesting for the kids. I think the teachers need to upgrade and just buy the teacher edition so that the young musicians have more fun. Don't get me wrong, this will teach them but the new versions have some new and improved techniques.

Product description is completely incorrect. The book does NOT come with two CDs, but a web kink to a rather poor application which basically contains an exact copy of the book but is clumsy to navigate. The only extra feature was a tuner that does not work properly. Save the extra $5 and just get the regular version of this book. The web application is worthless as it is. I would have liked to have received the CDs.
