Good price
My Daughter is over the moon with this reborn doll always wanted a reborn doll like this but all very expensive but came across this one and it’s brilliant, rather sweet doll, very good price. Only thing I noticed that it’s rather greasy for some reason.

Charming facial expression and lifelike detail!
This doll arrived in a lovely decorated cardboard box (the box carries the CE mark) and was presented in a pretty cello wrap secured with a red bow. Being made completely from silicone, which is the most perfectly pliable material, helps recreate the floppy posture of a 'newborn' that requires constant supporting, including a weighty head on a wobbly neck! She is anatomically correct and her facial expression is simply charming; some of her features are stunningly detailed: particularly the nostrils, chin, extended belly button, creases behind neck and on the feet, and the little knotted furrows in her brow. The texture of her skin has an unexpected 'reality' to it (kind of cool and waxy, without any residue). Another 'life-like' feature is that each baby has a birthmark, which on the model I received is located on her back near her shoulder. There also appears to be little brown freckles on her 'skin' in places. The seller suggests the 'newborn' can be bathed and powdered, but to treat her as delicately as you would a real baby (don't scrub her 'skin' and gently towel her dry). FYI There's zero hair / lashes on the model I received, nor do her eyes open, and, for anyone interested, the product info suggests the 'delivery weight' is: 3.086 pounds). Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality, and that a swaddling blanket was included too. However, for the price I wouldn't have expected the fingers of her right hand to be oddly 'webbed' where the silicone joins them together. There's also a couple of faint indented lines running the length of her limbs from the silicone mold, but she's still completely adorable. Lastly, and importantly, there's a conflicting recommended age on the product listing: "Manufacturers recommended age: 3 months - 3 years." And "Product safety info: Not suitable for children under 10 months. Not suitable for children under 3 years. For use under adult supervision." I'd tend to agree with the recommendation of 'NOT for under 3s' and supervision, and hopefully the seller will update the page with the correct information for other prospective buyers. (I tried to be as kind as I could when demonstrating how floppy / pliable the doll's body / limbs are in my video.)

Not great as a toy doll
I ordered this doll with the intent of giving it to a young child who, although they don't yet know it, is going to get a new sibling in about severn months. It's often helpful for young children to get a 'baby' of their own at the same time. However, this doll is really not suitable. In fact, I can't realy think what it might be suitable for. Unpacking: the doll arrives in a gift box, but is somewhat disturbingly for a realistic doll, packaged in a plastic bag inside the box. It comes dresssed in red rompers with a red and white hat, not the clothing shown in the listing. There's also a synthetic white blanket provided with it. The doll is not the colour in the listing: it's a darker skin tone. Measuring it the same way one measures the length of a newborn, it's 33cm long (about 13"). It weighs about 1.1kg, so heavier than the weight a real (but premature!) baby of this size would be. It has a slightly protruding and slightly sore-looking navel, similar to a real baby shortly after the umbilical cord has dropped off. Female genitalia is indicated by a crease, but nothing that some might consider too detailed. The head flops about convincingly and needs supporting like that of a new baby. It's obviously waterproof and bathable. So far, so good. However: the whole doll is really floppy. The solid silicon material means the limbs both stretch out alarmingly and can get into very unnatural-looking poses that I find quite disturbing. I wouldn't be confident that an inquisitive child might not try to see if a live baby could be similarly twisted. The stretchiness of the limbs also suggests that the common thing of carrying dolls by and arm or leg could lead to it breaking off. Similarly the fingers or toes could very easily tear off if it were chewed by a child or pet and be a choke hazard. In addition the head looks disproportionately elongated to me, but that's just a minor quibble. The upshot for me is that this doll is not suitable for my intended purpose. It might be useful as a baby for a nativity play, or as a model to demonstrate clothing and equipment for premie babies, or anywhere else where it's just for show. But I can't recommend it as a doll to play with.

Tiny but rather weighty!
Arriving inside a cardboard box then wrapped in cellophane and finished off with a bow. This tiny life like baby is extraordinarily like the real thing, even down to its weight Constructed out of the most bendable and pliable silicone I have ever come across. The features on this baby are incredibly real and attention has even been paid to the body..where human characteristics have been added to add authentistancy. The weight of this doll is considerably heavier then the average toy doll on the market and is another factor that makes this doll more life like. Lost one star unfortunately as i feel that the outfit the doll is wearing could of been abit more fancier and I don't really know what the white blanket/ wrap thing is in aid off.
