I'm a size 6-8 US, so I purchased the size 12/US size 8. They fit, but they were so tight around my waist that they caused my skin to bulge out giving me a muffin top underneath my boobs, and the ruched part rode up when I walked around. Therefore, if you are a little squishy like me, I recommend actually going up 2 sizes. If you're a fit person, going up only 1 size might work out for ya! I'd caution ANYONE against ordering the size they normally wear because these definitely RUN SMALL!With that said, I returned the size 12 and ordered the 14, and they fit perfectly. I found them to be pretty flattering, which surprised me because most high-waist swimsuits look like I'm wearing a diaper. They are pretty long, longer than I thought they would be, and they definitely come up above my belly button. So if you're looking for something that is more like a vintage swim dress, these are for you! If you're looking for a skirt that's a bit shorter and looks more like boy shorts, you may not like these. Additionally, the brief part of the swimsuit under the skirt does fit a little strangely. I have a pretty robust ass, so they worked for me but I could see someone with a smaller tush having problems with the fit.1/12/19 EDIT: Updated to 5 stars! I used these bottoms for a hike to a waterfall cliff jumping excursion in Dominican Republic. They were absolutely perfect! Comfortable to walk in, jump in, slide in, swim in - no need to layer clothes on top of a swimsuit, this versatile piece covered it all! Paired with a lil crop top, they easily transitioned from exercise gear to swimwear, with a slightly sexy vintage look. Highly recommend!

These skirted swimsuit bottoms are so cute! I ordered the navy and the black and I absolutely love them. They are very flattering as I have larger hips and thighs and they cover perfectly. They bunch on the sides so you can adjust the length to your liking. I ordered a size 18 which fits like a 14 based on other customer reviews of it being a bit small. I am 5'4, 170 lbs and wear a size 12 in pants. The size 18 is a little bit big but will work. I wish I would have follow the sizing chart and ordered the size 16 that fits like a 12 and I think it would have been perfect. I highly recommend these swimsuit bottoms.

I really like this swim skirt. I think it looks really cute and fun. I am plus size and heavier in my lower abdomen area and would like it more if the leg holes for the brief part of the suit under the skirt were cut a bit lower on my hip, upper leg area. I feel like it would be more flattering for my body type and make me feel more comfortable, in my opinion. Overall, I like these bottoms. I like the ruching and it is high waisted on me. The skirt length, covering my upper thigh area, and fit, helps to minimize my tummy, feels flattering for me. I am a bit more of apple shape, carrying more of my weight in my torso.

So, the skirted bikini bottom arrived with a minor seam and sewing issue. I'm usually a size 4-6 in bottoms and I ordered up a few sizes based on reviews. The waist was comfortable with even a little room for those days when you need it. Length was good and covered the right amount of leg for a middle age lady. The material seemed a little lacking in quality, but that's reflected in the price. My biggest issue with this swim bottom was the back-side fit. When I walked around it rode up creating bunched up fabric riding the top of my behind which wasn't attractive. If I had sized down, it would have been too tight in the waist and hips. If I had sized up, then it would have been too big in the waist and panty.

I usually wear size 14 in jeans and dresses. I am 5'4 and weigh 180lb, (thank you pandemic) so ordered size 18 as recommended in the size chart. I purchased the black with the ruched skirt look. It is so nice I love it. I wore it to the beach today over my high cut one piece. I prefer more coverage and this was a perfect solution since I love the bathing suit I have. The quality is great, it didn't ride up and stayed comfortably in place. Since I have a pool, frequent water parks, and public beaches, I am going back to look for more pieces. from this line

I was hoping the skirt was longer on me than it appeared in some of the reviewers pictures and it was. I can scrunch it up or pull it up higher if I want it shorter.The fabric feels nice and the skirt is pretty.I ordered using the sellers guidelines and got a 14. I normally wear a US 8/10. The skirt isn't tight, neither is it too loose. I'm pretty straight at the hips and it looks good. It falls about to inches beneath my cheeks (not the endowed back there) and it comes up right under my belly button. I have a short torso so it may not be the same if yours is normal or long.The skirt looks as if it can worn out with a cute top as an outfit.

I ordered a size 14 then a size 12 to see which fit better.Size 14 was pretty true to size.When I got the second skirt (supposed to be a 12) it had a different type of tag and said it was size 16. But it is definitely smaller.

I followed the size guide with my measurements and still sized down to 18. (According to their chart, I would be a 22, if they made that! Ugh.) The 18 fit but the skirt was too big and long and didn’t gather correctly. I’m ordering down another size to see if this fixes the problem. It will be super cute and sassy with any tankini top that has black accents IF I can find my correct size. My body is a true apple shape, and the size 18 covered my problem areas, but I know when it gets wet, the whole suit will sag and look ridiculous. I'm amazed by the quality and the design! Finally a piece of swimsuit I wear and I look nice on! It hides all the unnecessary information around the upper thighs and bum, showing the legs and grabbing/helping the belly to stay put too. I love it. Only beware sizing, I ordered a 16 US, I'm a 12 US. It fits great. Not tight at all mind you. Not loose either. This size can fit bigger women for sure but I think a size 12 would have been a miniature for me. This grabs and hides all that it should! And so comfortable, instead of feeling like a sardine in a can for the sake of "beauty" as with other compressive suits. Very happy.
