Professor Astro Cat's Human Body Odyssey Hardcover – Illustrated, May 1, 2018

I’m obsessed! This should be a textbook. Everything was written both fun and informative. And the section on disabilities and mental health was so well written. My son is very young and won’t be ready for this book for years. However I’m always looking to build his library and now I’m absolutely sold on everything Professor Astro Cat!

Absolutely love this book. Got it for my 4.5 year old but there's so much to learn it'll last a long time. Layout and illustrations pack in a lot of info without being visually overwhelming.

The grandkids like this and spend a lot of time going over and over the pages.

We liked the first couple of Professor Astrocat books enough to get Human Body Odyssey and Atomic Adventures. We LOVE those. We love them so much, that now I just preorder anything Dominic Walliman writes. My seven-year-old begs for them as bedtime stories, and I now understand the periodic table better than I understood it after a year of high school chemistry.

Excellent product with easy to follow explanations. More information than I though which is really nice. You cant go wrong here folks. Space book is on point as well.

A smaller kid can connect to the images, and a bigger kid connects to the explanation. Educational and gorgeously made. The book is big and well printed. A beautiful gift!

The book also looks at some quite complex bodily functions- the lymphatic system, the endocrine system, the immune system and genetics. Each area is carefully explained with clear illustrations to support the text. The book also looks at reproduction and keeping healthy before finishing with impairments and future science. From start to finish, it's a fascinating read with fabulous illustrations.Covering many of the areas of study for KS2 science, 'Professor Astro Cat's Human Body Odyssey' would be a welcome addition to any classroom as a reference tool and for examples of explanation writing.A 'factoroids' section offers some gems- I had no idea ear wax is unique- and a glossary/ index clearly explains terms used throughout the book. Excellent stuff!

We love Professor Astrocat! Brilliant illustrations and real, useful, in depth information that is easily digested by young minds due to the well thought out explanations and comparisons (and great for older minds who didn't pay enough attention at school too!). We will be buying more in the series.

Up to the high standard set by the other Astrocat books... our daughter loves them. This is an American edition though, maybe a UK english version hasn't emerged yet, but the rest of our collection is UK editions so it was a slight surprise.

Ordered for a Christmas gift. Have enjoyed reading it with my 9 year old. Really informative.

Such a wonderful book, got for my 7 & 10 year old, both really enjoy reading these. Full of beautiful illustrations and engaging facts, in A gorgeous hard cover that has the bonus of looking great on the bookshelf! We have got the whole collection as we love them so much!
