Good replacement
I've never had to replace an oil dipstick before, but a piece of the plastic containing the o-ring which inserts into the tube broke and I was concerned that it might end up in the oil pan (the car is 23 years old). This is the exact same length as the original.

Too short
Ordered this oil dipstick using the filtered search results for my car. This was too short for a '04 3.8L supercharged Chevy by nearly an inch.

Fit well but does not have raised lettering on loop like original part. Good service part but would have been nice to be just like original.

3800 series 3 replacement
Fits perfectly in my 2008 3800 series 3 engine, the old one wasn't sealing anymore and this has the same markings as the original part that it replaced. First package never arrived due to getting damaged and the carrier canceling the order, second one came fine, make sure you inspect it immediately upon delivery these have a high chance of being damaged in shipping depending on how the seller boxes it.
