This is amazing! I got the walnut/black legs with little shelf version. It’s more affordable than the Grovemade and other similar products by far which was the deciding factor for me. It’s solid and heavy, wooden legs & top/shelf. The little tray shelf has a felt cover so your tech doesn’t get scratched up or whatever. The little tray shelf fits a 12” iPad with keyboard case just fine. I put it together using the included allen wrench. Legs are supposed to be secured with two bolts per leg into pre-existing holes. (EDITED: found the missing bolt!) This is a very good product—especially when you’ve been looking for something like Grovemade or similar things on Etsy. I really couldn’t justify those prices; just not in my budget. But this was! And I’m so happy I found it. It makes my desk look amazing! I was looking for a dual monitor riser so I could have more space on my desk to put away the keyboard, my logitech ergonomic ball mouse, my giant charging brick (it’s a lenovo legion—and the brick is an EYESORE but necessary; I hid it under the felt tray), iPad, and other things. It fits my 22” Huion drawing tablet with its included stand at full upright mode, when used as a second monitor. When I draw I want a different angle so I just bring it down closer to me on the actual desk. I tried taking a photo of the walnut top under different light temperature so people who have other wood stains in their space/want the same can have a look before buying it; it’s a lovely walnut color and I love it.

The KIVY Dual Monitor Riser is sturdy, stylish, and easy to assemble. It fits perfectly with my current setup, and the materials feel high-quality for the price. The wood pieces have a nice finish, and the metal components give it a smooth, contemporary look. That said, this isn’t designed for heavy monitors or bulky equipment—it’s best suited for lighter setups. Overall, it’s a great value if you’re looking for a sleek and functional riser to elevate your workspace.

Quite sturdy and capable of supporting substantial monitor weight. The wood and finish look reasonably furniture-grade. The one shortcoming is the metal shelf, which is just a little bit rough and could be stronger and more rigid.

If you have ever quested for a desktop monitor stand, you can easily get both enamored by the aesthetic/functionality and put off by the price. The variety of options is vast, but the barrier to entry into that peak aesthetic can be daunting. Grovemade. Balolo. Oakywood. Top tier. With a price to match. Maybe on sale you get them at around $230 or so for the 46”-ish ones. Solid varietals will be more. There is a reason that there are so many versions of what boils down to the same thing: profit margin. This is not a resource intensive item. Usually has three legs, slightly offset. Single wood top of varying quality. About 4 inches high and 9 inches deep. Variety of widths. Walnut seems the default color-way, although I think we can argue over saturation at this point. (Soon to go the way of black car rims) It’s not an engineering marvel. It’s by nature uncomplicated. Not much to go wrong if care is taken in manufacturing. This Kivy desk riser is what you might call a lower tier version of the aforementioned. And you can see where they cut corners. Mine arrived undamaged, but I can see where that possibility existed. The box is thick enough, but could use some reinforcement. Overall, the shelf is very well built. And remains a passable facsimile of the Grovemade shelf. From a few feet away, it’s a very good facsimile. It’s only when touching the finish do you realize the thinness of the veneer and, frankly, its poor application. Mine came with some veneer lift in the center, likely due to contraction and a poor curing process. Surface is quite rough. You can almost feel the veneer lines. This does serve a signifiant purpose, though, as it does not have any surface reflections. It’s distinctly matte. If you do plan on using the aluminum and felt shelf provided with the unit, you’re going to need a center support. The aluminum is so thin it bowed out of the box. By placing an object underneath in the center, you can mitigate this effect. I will personally take mine out because it doesn’t serve much of a purpose in my particular set up. It is unfortunate for those that want to use the shelf, though. As a dupe, it’s really good. The legs disappear underneath. From viewing distance, it looks great. It’s level and solid. It does exactly what it sets out to do at less than half the price of a Grovemade on sale. Sometimes a third of the price. This is a giant win. At $79. on sale, it’s even more compelling. This is a great value for the price. That challenges the leaders in the space. Although it is not unforgivable that the shelf is unusable out of the box, and the finish is far less than ideal, I personally see no compelling reason why this should not be on your short list of desktop stands. It does what it does well. It looks great at distance. I do wonder about longevity. But, it's not like it's getting handled a lot. And, it is by far the best visual example of those high-end products currently on Amazon. Think of it as a generic version of your favorite breakfast cereal. Tastes similar, but you didn’t have to take out a loan to buy it…

Made out of mdf and the surface finish came with blemishes out the box. The finish is also prone to wearing from light usage. For $100 all in all it’s not great but I guess it’s cheaper than spending $300 on a grove made. Update: After attempting a return, I come to find out I can’t return at Whole Foods like most Amazon purchases. The return must be done at UPS, and I must purchase a box to put it in. Well a box of that size costs more than the item itself… When I expressed my issue to the seller they told me to simply not return the item and keep it… Never been more displeased with customer service.

Well constructed but the finish quality is marginal at best. There are dents, small scratches and areas where wood filler was poorly applied. The metal shelf has very sharp unsafe edges. Based on the reviews, quality seems to be inconsistent. Would not buy it again and it's probably going back. Good price, but you get what you pay for.

I know the price is high but I'd say it's worth it! Gave me more space on my desk and it's not super high. It's sturdy and functional.
