A bit brighter than standard cold-galv.
Picture is of factory hot-dip galvanized angle iron short piece on top for reference. Bottom left longer pc of angle iron is Rusto's cold-galvanizing spray, center is the rusty piece I sprayed over, and the right side is this Brite Zinc Primer. This is just a few days after spraying. 2nd pic is after I took my fingernail to a spot on each sprayed surface.Yes Brite Zinc is a bit brighter and a closer match to a factory hot-dip galv. Can scratch through Rust-o's cold-galv with a fingernail, see picture, but can't scratch through the Brite Zinc with a fingernail. That's been my most aggravating thing about the Rust-o's cold galv is that it is not robust enough to abrasion. I'd buy this Brite Zinc for that. Only time in the elements will tell how well it holds up to rain, snow, and moisture+salts, and mild corrosives.

Satisfied after several months
I used this product to repair scratches in a galvanized steel fence. The color blends in with galvanizing acceptably well and it seems to have a good bond. So far, no rust has developed.

So far so good
Be sure to wear a proper mask when you're spraying this. It worked great for me as long as the steel was prepped properly. Excellent welds with my mig.

The Cold Galvy the pros use
I discovered this Cold Galvanizing spray for sale at a professional tower construction supplier many years ago when I got into the business and was instantly impressed by the performance as compared to the brands more commonly available to the homeowner at the big box stores. I sprayed small areas of my boat trailer several years ago and they are still bright today. So, when I found it here on Amazon, I stocked up and finished the job. I think anyone familiar with cold-galvanizing paints will notice the difference and I highly recommend it.

Weld through primer
I used this product for a couple of small items, I could hear the mixing ball inside. Now the zinc coating will not come out of the nozzle. There is plenty of product in the can.
