Love the coffee!
Love the beans they roast very well in my nut roaster on the stovetop at medium heat. Depending on the roast you like it takes me 16 to 18 minutes stirring after one minute intervals until it’s close to the end then I stir them a few times a minute. For darker roasts it’s anywhere from 19 to 22 minutes. These times give me great city roasts, espresso roasts, City roast plus one and two’s, and also dark roasts like French and Italian. They taste great and are organic. I highly recommend buying some coffee seeds/beans from this company.

Yummy! Roasting was easy too!
I decided to roast my own beans and it was EASY! Wach some videos on YouTube and u should b good to go. Love the flavor! I used my cast iron and keep stirring with 3chopsticks ( I didn’t like sound make using wire whisk so switched. Two chopsticks r not enough to move around all the beans) Next time, I might make my own multi-chopsticks bean stir by rubber banding several chopsticks. It’s get smoky so I started indoor but finished it outside. I think doing outside made sense because I can cool down beans/ skake off any debris. Happy roasting ☕️

Bitter and flat
One of the worst tasting coffee. Bitter and lacks pleasant aroma even when lightly roasted.Money wasted and not eligible for return. Can’t recommend.

A Very Impressive Bean Well Suited For Blends
I use a Gene Café CBR-101 roaster with a capacity of approximately 5 to 6 ounces. This bean has excellent physical characteristics and roasting delivers large plump full beans that roast very uniformly. I prefer a "City Lite" roast with a defined oil gloss and deep color. Typically I blend this with a good Ethiopian or Uganda and a base of high quality Columbian. Brews a great cup and is an exciting cold extract experience.

The beans are mostly small.
I roast my coffee over gas, using cast iron skillet, and prefer light to light medium roast. I use copper turkish coffee pot to make my coffee. The flavor of this coffee is nothing special. I would say it has too much acidity to my liking. But it has this sweet bitterness, that I really like in coffee too. I think it'll be better if I incorporated the French technique and mixed it with one or two other brands. But it is too sophisticated for me. I just like coffee, simple coffee, but delicious.

Good stuff
These unroasted beans are the bomb dot com. Make sure your coffee grinder can handle some good grinding because unroasted beans are hard. My coffee grinder handled it like a boss. I have a non-discerning palate so my opinion on the taste doesn't mean much but my girlfriend says the flavor is amazing.

Stale, flavorless
These suffer by comparison to any of the many varieties I've gotten from Sweet Maria's using the exact same roasting method (whirley pop). The flavor is flat and stale tasting. I can only assume they're old stock.

Good but not great
This coffee was ok but lacked the earthiness I prefer in a Sumatra.
