I had a operation to save my site, and hopefully it will, but the plastic shield was a must and while one was wet and draing on the drainer after being washed with a sterile cleanser I could be using another to shield my eye, I didn't need the rubber band to keep them on though because they marked my face but I used surgical tape instead, but they are fine for some people, which is a good thing, but my face was swollen, but the quality was there as they were the same as the hospital shield, the price was very good and the function was that i could see through the shield which was a big bonus it was also very confortable to wear as well as it is shaped to fit snuggle around the socket of the eye.

Had a cataract done and these served a good purpose. Nice and strong and comfy.

Good , but to tighten you have to make sure that the cord which not always sure which holes to put through wasn't in the wrong place when I was lying down as have/had to sleep in one post cataract operation. They gave me one at the hospital but only taped on. Just said seletape it on . It gets stuck to your hair and uncomfortable removing the seletape . I did use some paper tape. But these are good as you don't need to tape them on.

Not at all happy with these. The corner point on both shields has a rough edge which is sharp enough to cut on one shield. The elastic strap is fiddly to attach and fails to keep the patch in place unless uncomfortably tight. One of the straps had only one end fitted through the adjusting device and I found it impossible to thread it through. Found these unusable

So much easier with the elastic string fits great and comfortable

In each plastic eye patch there is a small uneven section that sticks out. I used a nail file to smooth it out. With that defect ( which another reviewer also mentioned) I feel the item is overpriced
