We love these bowls (and their plates) for all of their right reasons.Made of straw, for goodness sake, and are biodegradable. They handle, wash, and feel like plastic but they're made of straw. We don't particularly care for the colors or for the speckling in the colors, though. Nonetheless, I hope they keep going and growing. It's a wonderful project!

These bowls are awesome! The only downside is that they stain very easily - especially if you don’t clean the food out right away.

Careful what you microwave in them
The bowls have a nice shape but are smaller than expected. Colors are fairly muted. The biggest issue is that I microwaved leftover chili and left a stain which I could not remove. So be careful with tomato-based products. I like the plates to use for under the bowls or other microwave containers.

These are cute and not fragile, which is always good around here. We love them.

Never feel clean after washing
Loved them, but they can be stained by rich colored foods such as tomato based soups and stews, and they never feel clean after washing (scrubbing).
