Highly recommended 👌!!!!!
I bought this blanket in January exactly 1 year ago. It just stopped working BUT that is after running continuously since the purchase. I have cold feet and keep it on low even during the summer ! Also I've rolled the bed frame over the cord dozens of times accidentally! I highly recommend this blanket. It is soft , warm and stays on unless I turn it off. The heat distribution isn't co distant with some areas warmer than others but I find that with all of them.

Good blanket!
This blanket is so warm! It allows you to stay warm without be HOT Most heated blankets I have had will make you hot, not warm. Even on low settings I used the 6th setting and it was the perfect warmth for me When it was -25 Degrees with -30 wind chills. It kept me warm all night, I will say that it feels a bit like blanket fabric you would buy at the fabric store to use to make a tie blanket But besides that super nice! It’s big and fits my twin size bed great! Worth the money in my opinion

Sunbeam got it right.
This blanket is soft and comfortable, and beyond the fact that it warms the bed with a nice range of temperature settings, it has a shut-off timer. Equally important, the power cord and the control cord are easily long enough to reach the wall socket near the head of the bed, and the control stays put on my nightstand. At least two other blankets I tried from other retailers had cords that barely reached the power outlet, and the control cords were so short that they pulled the controls onto the floor...not very convenient. I sent them back. And for some reason I don't grasp, those cords were attached to one side at the bottom of the blanket, making the blanket's connection shortcomings even more problematic. I saw one reviewer who said that the side location meant that their feet wouldn't rub on the cord, but I don' see how that would happen anyway...my feet are in the bed and the cords are not. In short, the offset placement benefits the manufacturer more (less cost for the cords I suppose) than the user...this is not a problem with Sunbeam. They did it right and I appreciate that.

Works great
Works great! The thickness is good. Not too heavy. We each have our own side to adjust heat, which is perfect! The size is good. Fits perfectly. Soft and comfortable. Heats quickly.

Good but some issues
I'd begun this with a 4 star rating, but after over a month's use I bumped it down a star. The good: Blanket is comfortable and there's little interference from the built-in heating wires. On some blankets the wires are clearly seen. Not so with this. Also, the controls are easy to use and understand. Press the power button to start up using previous settings. Adjustments are made for temperature with the button the left and timer settings with the button on the right. The issues: The controls make a loud clicking sound. Best to set everything up before you go to sleep because if you decide to turn it on or change it during the night you most likely will wake up your partner. (I know from experience!) It's loud! Think one of those party clickers. The other main problem is temperature variation over time. When I first used the blanked, a "2" setting was fine. I now start with a "5" but maybe an hour or two later I'll wake up very hot and turn it off or back down to "2". The house thermostat has stayed the same. Another issue is that the power light stays on (although dim) once the timer stops. At first I was thinking I'd somehow left the blanket on until I realized it was just how it works. You can turn the light off by pressing the power button. Not sure why the light can't just stay off when the blanket is off, but it is what it is. A lesser issue is the thinness of the blanket. The difference is noticeable by comparison to my old Sunbeam blanket that this one replaced. It may be an advantage in the summer, but for the winter I've added another thin blanket on top of this.

A Must Have Electric Blanket! I Have Already Ordered A Second Blanket!
I chill easily and also use heat to help with my severe arthritis. This twin sized Sunbeam Royal Ultra Fleece Heated Electric Blanket is FANTASTIC and exceeded all of my expectations! - Quality: Outstanding quality of design, materials, and construction. Long plug in cord is helpful in case the nearest electric outlet is a ways away. 12 heat settings on an illuminated control that are easy to see and adjust. - Comfort: So warm, comfortable, and cozy you won't want to take this electric blanket off! The blanket is soft and lightweight. Heat is evenly distributed throughout the blanket. - Appearance: The pebble colored I ordered is very pretty and will blend with any decor. - Use: This twin size is very handy and versatile. Great for cuddling up at night on a chair of chair and ottoman when reading, doing crossword puzzles, or watching TV at night (see night photo). Great for traditional bed use on one side of a king sized bed, for a person such as myself who likes bedding to be much warmer than my husband does. - Value: The current $49.28 price is a terrific value. I love this blanket so much that I have already ordered a second blanket! I highly recommend this product.

My History of Electric Blankets
This is the second time I've ordered this item instead of other options. Why? Because when the electric heating function quits, it's still a dandy blanket. Why Sunbeam instead of the other options? Because my mother once sent my husband and I a Sunbeam electric blanket for Christmas. That one lasted 25 years with it's dual controls still working. Then I ordered cheap replacements 3 years in a row and they were not even decent blankets when they died. That's when I went back to Sunbeam. Sadly, even Sunbeam seems to have gone the route of planned obsolescence now and I can expect only about 3 years of heat function.... but I'm worth it. Keeping me coddled, cuddled and warm is an act of love I do for me.

For UK-compliant electric blankets, listings always include something like: “Rated voltage: 220–240V ~ 50Hz” “UK 3-pin fused plug” “BS EN 60335 compliant” or similar The fact that none of this appears strongly indicates: This is a US-spec product The seller has reused a generic Amazon template Electrical compliance has either been omitted intentionally or ignored
