2 Pcs Internal Backwater Valve 2 Inch Float Guard Backflow Preventer for Flood Drains, Sewer Protection

Does not work. added this to my basement shower. Water will not drain completely. Scratching my head trying to understand this engineering.

Even though it says, it’s for 2 inch pipe it just doesn’t fit in very well and it’s too tight

Had an occasional issue with a floor drain backing up. Installed easilly and tested with a pail of water and works as intended. Now I can rest easier knowing this will prevent flooding.

i tried this for a shower drain, however water backs up against the valve and only goes through is there is sufficient ''pressure'', which is more than a couple inches of water above the valve..

Does not fit in a 2" pipe as stated. It's garbage.
