Great quality moka pot
This is my first moka pot and I’m very pleased with my purchase. Using the moka pot has become part of my morning ritual and a great way to create high quality espresso for copycat coffee shop drinks.

Great Quality!
Get ready for some good coffee. Stainless steel is really the way to go. Takes about 15 mins for the coffee to start trickling. Overall, great product and definitely recommend.

Lightweight Moka Pot - Still Going Strong After 2.5 Months
We have a regular single-serve coffee maker that I use every day. She uses it every day as well, but once in a while, she likes to make her specialty Cuban coffee, and (she says) it doesn't taste right when made in the single-serve maker. She insists that the best Cuban coffee is made in a Moka pot. When we first got this coffee maker, it seemed cheaply made. It's very lightweight and doesn't have the solid quality you might want in your kitchen. However, now that she has been using this Moka pot for about 2 and a half months she really likes that it is so light weight. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. The best thing of all, she says, is that the coffee is outstanding. It has held up perfectly despite our initial concerns about its quality

Good for making coffee
shipping was ok, the stovetop coffee maker arrived with no issues. This coffee maker is just like the ones you see in the older movies. It works well on gas stovetop to make coffee. The coffee, tea, etc. The water in the item heats up relatively fast depending on the level of heating used. You need to use the handle because this item gets hot. Be sure to take safety precautions when using if you have toddlers and pets that are spazes and like to get into things.

Silicone sealing ring inside the coffee maker
Based on the product information, it does not mention anything about a silicone sealing ring. I wouldn't order this product knowing that there is a silicone inside.

Tasty alternative to espresso
Ok, this was my first time trying a Moka pot. It took a couple of attempts to get it down but after several attempts I was able to get a shot similar in flavor but slight weaker than an espresso. That said, I actually like the taste better than espresso as it tasted smoother without any hint of bitterness. What I really like most about it, are the larger volume than a typical espresso shot and how it makes a fantastic cup of Americano. If you've never tried using a Moka pot before, give it a try.

Beautiful on the inside and outside
This moka pot boasts a sleek, modern design that outshines its cheaper cast-aluminum contemporaries. The build quality is excellent, albeit the inside of the water chamber lacks a polished finish. The appeal of having steel moka cups over aluminum is that one, steel is chemically less reactive to acidic substances than aluminum. Two, it has a neutral pH which generally means it won't impart undesirable tastes. Well, not as much anyways. Thirdly, aluminum pots that often leave the inside chamber unfinished, tend to spall excessively. This produces tiny aluminum flakes that can easily bypass the relatively wider holes of the steel filter. In short, steel pots are a much sounder choice over aluminum if the user would like to lower their daily intake of aluminum.Onto the user experience--- I washed the inner parts thoroughly with dish soap, left it to soak for about half an hour. I then rinsed it and filled it with coffee and appropriate amounts of water (below the valve line) and put it boil on the stove. It took more than 5 minutes until the pot started to percolate which was few minutes more than normal.I initially thought it maybe it had to do with the pot being made out of a thick gauge of steel. But the culprit turned out to be the grind size of the coffee. The grinds were too fine and it took considerably higher pressure to overcome that exerted by the finely ground coffee puck. The moral of the story is that the user too, would need to explore a bit with coffee grind settings to obtain the coffee best suited for their liking. To close, I think this is simply an excellent moka pot aptly suited to make a great cup of coffee with ease and speed. While its price is considerably higher than that of its cheaper aluminum counterparts, I believe the build quality of the product more than justifies the premium at the end of the day. Furthermore, it's on the cheaper end when compared against other steel moka pots in the marketplace. 5 out of 5 stars, I'd highly recommend this to others.
