I bought this as a last hail-mary attempt to stop my Samsung G9 monitor from flickering. This cable did the trick.

Real dp80 cable, well done

Worked for 1 week before it couldn't use displayport 1.4 anymore. Can only display on displayport 1.1 which doesn't support 5120x1440

Great Cable that lived up to it's promise in performance for about 6-8 weeks, and now no longer achieves anywhere near those numbers as measured by both Gbps data transfer speeds and electric Hz refresh rates with my gaming computer and monitor. But if you only need to use it for a limited time, say within the return period, it's well worth the fully refundable price. Would've given 5 stars if either the cable itself or the return period was available in longer lengths, say 2-3 meters or months, respectively.I'm using thunderbolt 4 ports with current third-gen QD-OLED displays and those continue to perform as expected now using a competitively similar cable that matters. Pun unintended and unavoidable.

First off, I want to say that this isn't my first Club 3D item. In the past I needed a bi-directional HDMI to Display Port (DP) cable to a HTC Vive VR Headset and the Club 3D cable was the only one that was bi-directional and actually worked. Since then I only buy their adapters, and though expensive, they always work. You actually end up saving money in the long run. I bought a few cheaper converters, they never worked, the time passed to return them, and then I got the Club 3D one, should have went with it first.Club 3D is a Dutch company that makes high, like seriously high quality cables and converters that just flat out work since 1997.This Club 3D CAC-1559 USB Type C Cable to DP 2.1 Bi-Directional VESA DP80 Certified Cable has truly exceeded my expectations. This is the third bi-directional cable I have purchased and the first that worked without any issue at all. The cable is high quality and worked beautifully to connect a portable dual screen folding monitor to my computer that did not have a usb-c DP port. Everything works great and looks good.
