Only used a couple times so far. Seems to work, but I just need to get used to running it.

Heavy duty.
These are not some cheapo mixer attachments. These are very well made. The rollers are well built, sturdy, and heavy duty. Easy to install, adjust, and use.

Well-made and every bit as good as the name-brand
I love this set of attachments. I have long been craving the pasta-making attachments from the name brand, but they were far too pricey for my budget. When I spotted there, I was excited. I was not disappointed when they arrived. They are solidly built and work just as well as the name-brand pasta attachments. They are easy to attach and work effectively. I am super-excited to have them and see lots of homemade pasta in our future.

pasta attachment
I'm always trying something in the kitchen, and with my KitchenAid mixer, the wealth of attachments provide a lot of inspiration. This pasta maker is a fraction of the size of my stand-alone machine and works better. It is solid, too! Very well made and easy to use. It's fun, to boot!

Great attachment
This is a great value for how efficient it is. The pasta maker is adjustable and easy to use. The build quality feels sturdy and allows you make pasta thicker or thinner to your preference. Works great!

Solid construction. Dependable fun for the whole family. Not (really) for saving money.
I have owned a KitchenAid stand mixer for over 7 years and this is my first attachment. I am pleased with the construction materials (stainless steel) and assembly quality in relation to the item's price. My only significant complaints relate to the dial for the "thickness" unit. First, the numbers (apparently laser etched into the metal) are virtually impossible to see, except under the brightest of light. Second, the thickness setting is essentially "infinitely variable between 1 and 8 with no "detents" in the dial. This isn't a big deal, but you can easily accidentally bypass the maximum and minimum thickness (especially since the numbers are so hard to see!) and then the wheel binds up (and may/will eventually get loose and require disassembly to restore full function).I ordered this during the summer when I noticed various pastas (particularly) fettuccine becoming more and more difficult to find in stock in our two favorite grocery stores. Also, even dried pasta is also becoming ridiculously expensive.[ Please note, the product available may now "only" be the three-in-one unit. From the photos, it looks identical in materials and construction quality, but integrates all three functions into one unit. Ours is 3 separate units which would give the additional opportunity to work on thickness AND pasta forming SIMULTANEOUSLY . . . presuming multiple stand mixers are available. ]I finally tried this a week or so after Thanksgiving in order to provide a review. Boy is it fun. Hours and hours of fun are "possible"/necessary to make fresh pasta for a family of 5. [ At least this allows us to micromanage ingredients! ]Presuming I have client work to occupy that time, a money saver this device will NOT be. That said, the raw materials are a LOT less expensive than store-bought pasta. If you have nothing but free time on your hands and love pasta, this is a clear winner. Our three year old LOVES watching the KitchenAid's square drive hole for attachments going around and is of course *particularly* intrigued that it actually accommodates a specific device. So this is not just an opportunity to control exactly what food goes into our bodies, but an entertainment device as well.I think my next use of it will be on New Year's Eve when we can listen to music and may be able to convince all kids to while away hours with me with our shiny kitchen objects of affection in a loving family setting. I will attempt to make enough pasta dough so that we can dry a bunch for future use. That's probably the best use case to maximize efficiency of a device like this. Making enough for one meal is likely a significant time-waster for most users.
