Morphy Richards Vector Cream Pour Over Filter Coffee Machine - Reusable Filter - 1.8L - 163004

Wanted a simple coffee machine to NOT dominate the worktop surfaces. Have tried a couple of types but wasnot satisfied. Came across this item whilst searching and the spec was impressive but also a nice looker (boss approved). Unfortunately (at the time of ordering) a black version was not available so I went for the cream model. When unpacked I was very satisfied with the item and quickly got it ready for use. Setting up the system was relatively easy and the end product was good. I have since perfected he methods to suit my taste (strong decaf taste level 4) and am now very happy with the product. A decent amount of coffee produced (4/5 mugs), no huge thing dominating the worktop, no pods, just nice coffee when needed. I have since ordered a toaster and kettle to go with it. VERY satisfied. PHH.

I have had one for a year. It makes coffee making a pleasure and the result is better nd more reliable than a cafetière. It can be set up in advance and just switched on as require, say at the end of a meal. A lot of technology at a reasonable price.It does need an open space above it as the lid needs to be fully open to put the water in and set up the coffee. Will not fit under cupboards unless they have a high position. This one is a gift.

The machine is great and makes a good cup of coffee.Only problem is our clock does not work so it is no good to wake up to. By the time we had worked this out we had used it too many times.As we are retired we are not geared to a time so we get up and press a button, works for us.I would recommend this machine.

This is great coffee machine, it works perfectly and looks good. I love the fact that you can change the strength setting if you wish (ours is always on the strongest setting), the timer works well, the flavour is great and doesn’t taste of plastic at all. The keep warm function is okay but you can’t re-start it when the 25 minutes are up so you should only make as much coffee as you can drink within about half an hour **EDIT** I managed to restart the keep warm function today by leaving the machine off for roughly five minutes and the pressing the start button again 🙂. The machine is easy to clean and to dry (preventing mould and smells). All in all this was a good buy and I’m very happy with it.

I never normally review BUT this coffee machine is really great.I agonised for a few days which to get, checked which .com, review sites, and this one came up as the best because it has a cupcake filter and employs the 'pour over' method. The best price was amazon, and on prime next day too.The cool look of the product isn't a gimmick, the coffee tastes seriously good (I switched from cafetiere) and I dont think I'll go back from filter. The timer function was easy to use. The filter is easy to clean. Cannot complain.

We now use this as our main coffee machine, replacing our previous pod nespresso machine. We much prefer this. Heats it to a nice time so its drinkable straight away. Easy to set the timer and looks really good. Matches all our other cream appliances. We have been converted to filter coffee!

This is by far the best drip machine I’ve owned, easy to use, easy to clean, in terms of flavour it outperforms its more expensive rivals …. but you must break it in follow the manufacturers guide on setup then using cheap strong grounds make a pot of coffee do not drink!!! You tried some didn’t you🤮. To get rid of plasticy taste Remove filter basket and the filter holder put in a suitable sized container grounds and all then pour over the coffee from pot add some hot water but make sure it’s covered leave overnight if possible then rinse. Now make your first pot of great coffee.

It’s almost a great coffee maker. Flavour wise it’s very good - it doesn’t hold a candle to my Aeropress, but now I can make coffee for more than just me.I’m Canadian, so I’ve grown up on filter coffee and I’ve had a few with timers, a function that I adore as it helps get me out of bed, but this one... first off, people are wrong, btw, the clock IS 24hr, it’s am/pm. BUT... the huge letdown is the paltry 25 minutes for the hot plate.It’s really bad. So bad that I’m angry at myself for not returning this machine within the 30 day window. I’ve not known a machine that didn’t give you 2 hours. With this one... if you happen to sleep in even slightly, you’re going to have cold coffee. It has to run down the time before you can reset it, so I often find myself having my 1st cup when the pot may have been made 10 minutes before, then by the time I come for a 2nd cup, it’s already lukewarm. Unless I get there right after the timer is finished. If I get there 2 minutes before, I have to go and come back again. It actually makes the whole thing more effortful than me making a pot in the morning. I just hate it.I’d read this several times in reviews but hadn’t appreciated how much of a design flaw this would really be in real life. I honestly recommend you don’t buy this.
