I read you can mount the file holder on the wall or stand it on your desk. We purchased it with the purpose of standing it on the desk but it will not stand at all. I used command strips to hang it on the wall. It is not made to use command strips and does not have a flat surface on it for command strips, so I hope it works.

I really like this product it came package well so there was no damage or dents and the overall size is perfect for on the wall I haven't actually attached it to the wall itself so I'm not a hundred percent sure how sturdy it is in that sense but standing up on your desk it's very nice and sturdy that way the only negative I would have for it is I bought it for my store to hold the clipboards that everybody uses and they don't fit but all my other paperwork and folders and things fit in there perfectly so you definitely have to read the exact sizes that you want for the products that you have same with me putting it on the wall in place of existing wall mount the sizes were different but I would definitely recommend this product for a file wall holder.

We bought this for my husband's desk and it works as it should. We used some small 3m hooks to stabilize it because we are using it as a standing on the desk holder and not hanging. The extra holders are nice

I love this product. Easy to install, very sturdy and durable it seems. I will return to update if my first impressions changes. Here's the funny thing, I ordered 2 by mistake. I only really wanted 1 and started the return process, but once I saw how great they fit in the space I kept them both. They come with only 2 screws and that is sufficient to keep it sturdy but once installed as you see in the pic there is some play at the bottom. So what I did was find a couple more matching screws, find the center below the bottom file slot and put the screw there and it doesn't budge one bit.Note. To make this install easy, FIRST drill the screws in place almost all the way to the wall leaving a tiny space between the screw head and the wall (enough for the unit to slide in snugg). SECOND simply hang the unit and it should be little tight to go into place, and simply press firmly on the top corners of the left and right sides (do not press on the file slots) to slide it in snugg.

Loved it . I use it to make my desk look tidy! I am in a cubicle, therefore it fits nicely on one of the partition walls. My coworkers have admired it and contemplated getting some for the office.

Easy to install, love the different folder files, what sold me on this unit was the place to put labels on each file. Very satisfied.

Our office had to move the mailroom to a smaller space and still have room for each staff member to have an inbox. The wall mounted file holder was just what I was looking for. My only hesitancy was putting holes in the wall to screw it in. Did it anyway and it was painless. There's an area where I was able to put a label indicating which slot belongs to whom. My boss loves it! And I got compliments from other staff members. It was a great choice.

You get what you expect (not common now days). Sturdy, functional. I purchased two. There are others out there, but these have the little tray with the lip on the bottom - love that.
