Superb, just now I have started taking it for diabetes neuropathy and for insulin sensitivity ,one thing I observed it reduces blood sugar.

Dont know is it working or not but once u have this tab the next urination u ll smell sulphur smell while urination

It has definitely had positive effects. I was looking for supplements and vitamins for diabetics and have used it in two cases, both diabetic.In one elderly patient (age 87 years) with dementia, we found an improvement in the mental clarity a month after starting on this once a day. Also, a lot of troublesome nerve pains were reduced. We are continuing use over a year, with positive benefit.In the second diabetic (age 54 years or so), we found that the lipid profile (which had earlier been raised), came back to normal after a month of starting on ALA once a day.I referred to Dr. Whitaker's suggestion on his vitamin-supplement website. He recommends 600 to 1200 mg a day.I am giving 300 mg once a day to start with.

There are important issues here. First, and most important, everyone should consult their doctors before taking any supplements, including vitamins or minerals - some of them can even be dangerous in excess. Second, most reasonably affluent people do not need an array of supplements, providing that they eat a balanced, normal diet. However, old age (like in my case, I am 70) people might benefit by having certain supplements. My personal view is that I - and I emphasize the "I" - could benefit by extra anti-oxidants such as alpha lipoic acid (ALA) to name one of about six or so different supplements. Having said that, note that this Vista brand contains both "R" and "L" isomers of ALA, presumably in equivalent amounts, and the body only uses the "R" isomer; in other words, half the pill is redundant - albeit harmless. So, you have to double the dose for the same beneficial effect as taking pure R-ALA - but since the daily minimum requirement is irrelevant/unknown, no one can suggest "The Dose". The 300 mg tablets in this product should constitute an adequate daily amount.My advice - yes, the elderly could benefit by having a tablet a day, but don't feel compelled to take it.

Atleast should try it once....it really works
